From Bustouts to Double Ups

Lucille Cailly's first bad day in a while on the EPT
Lucille Cailly's first bad day in a while on the EPT

It seemed that all the all ins in the last level resulted in a bust out, not so this level.

First up we witnessed Roberto Romanello double-up Konstantin Streletskiy. The latter was down to 140,000 when he shoved from the hijack with {a-Spades}{7-Diamonds}. Romanello was the only caller with {6-Spades}{6-Hearts} from the small blind and the board ran {9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{3-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{q-Spades} to make the Russian two-pair.

We missed all of the action in the next double-up, but it was more bad news for Lucille Cailly. Her ace-nine was no match for Joni Petteri Jouhkimainen's {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades} on a {10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{10-Spades} board.
