A player in the early position opened the hand with a raise and the local favorite Leo Margets re-raised in the mid position. Action folded back to the original raiser and he three-bet to 5,300 and Margets made the call.
The dealer burned and turned and the player in the early position bet 5,500 and Margets called again.
The turn card went and the original raiser fired another 8,500. Margets sighed and laid down her hand.
The Super High Roller comes to a close, won by the unstoppable Dan Smith…

Peter Jepsen's tournament, by his own admission, isn't going so well but the Chinese poker he's playing on his iPad against a friend in the tournament is going slightly better.
"I'm up 102 points and we're playing €100 a point!" At the moment, we'd venture he's trying to grind the tournament to win more at Chinese rather than to make day 2 of the main event.

Romania's Emanoil Savin is the current chip leader with 185,000, he's just picked up a decent pot when he raised a turn bet on a board from 2,900 to 8,000 - forcing three players to fold.

Marcin Horecki has had a draining day where his stack has been up and down like a yo-yo.
The Team PokerStars Pro's stack had reached a recent high of 23,000 after being as low as 6,000 earlier. He just lost a pot though that could be the start of another downward trend.
The Pole opened to 1,025 from early position and called when Morten Christensen three-bet to 3,200 from the big blind. The flop fell and Christensen continued for 3,200. Call.
No more chips ventured into the middle as both players checked down the turn and river. Christensen opened and took the pot as Horecki mucked.

We didn't get the full hand, but the Lithuanian 2010 EPT Tallinn High Roller winner Kristijonas Andrulis said his tens ran into last year EPT Barcelona Main Event champion Martin Schleich's queens. Andrulis had a stack of around 18,000 which is now in German's possession.

We just saw everyone's favorite Team PokerStars Pro Liv Boeree leave the tournament room and the dealer at her former table announcing an empty seat which means she won't be back for Day 2.
Liv_Boeree Liv Boeree Busto AKs into Aces. Oh well, lots more fun to be had this week.
