Kamutzki Having a Great Day At The Felt

Sometimes in poker, everything you do just seems to work and it looks like Heinz Kamutzki is having one of those days. He started the day with around 62,000 chips and now he has 212,000 of them. Cue the shouts of "Must be nice."

In a hand just now he opened to 4,000 from the UTG+1 seat and the action folded all the way around to Stefan Höing in the big blind and he three-bet to 10,000. Kamutzki obviously thought his hand was still the best because he clawed back his original raise and four-bet to 21,500. Höing made the call and the dealer got busy putting out the flop.

Flop: {j-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} - Höing chcked to Kamutzki who riffled a pile of black chips before betting 13,700. That was enough for Höing and he slid his hand back to the dealer.

Deres Spikes Double Against Guillen

Angel Guillen and Gerasimos Deres got all the money in preflop. Guillen held two red jacks against Deres' two back eights. Deres was the play at risk and all in for the small amount of 7,600.

Things stayed clean for Guillen until the river as the board ran out {K-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{10-Spades}{8-Hearts} and Deres doubled up.

Zoike Wins Without Needing to Show

Action folded over to Cesar Garcia Domínguez in the cutoff seat and he raised to 4,000. On the button, Armin Zoike three-bet to 8,000. Domínguez called and the flop came down {J-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}. Domínguez checked and Zoike bet 5,000. Domínguez called.

The turn was the {10-Hearts} and both players checked before the {5-Clubs} landed on the river. Domínguez fired 12,000 and Zoike announced a call. Domínguez mucked his hand without showing when he heard Zoike make the call. Zoike didn't show his hand and raked in the pot.

That's Not Wright, Mr Thomsen

"What the f##k?" shouted Steven Thomsen after the dealer revealed his hand. He had shoved the river in a hand versus Marc Wright. Wright called and Thomsen mucked and got up to leave.

"Why did you showdown?" he continued to bellow.

A floor man was in attendance and told him they were the rules and he knew that. Thomsen was very angry still and stormed off.

Big Stacks Battle in the Corner

Cengiz Ulusu is using his big stack to splash chips around and apply some pressure. He picked on the second largest stack at his table, but it didn't work out too well for him.

Paul Vas Nunes opened to 4,500 from second position and called when Ulusu three-bet to 13,500 from two seats along. The flop fell {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and Nunes check-called a 16,000 continuation bet from the Turk.

Both players checked the {6-Diamonds} turn to see the {j-Spades} river. Nunes check-called a 16,000 bet and took the pot as his {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts} bettered Ulusu's {j-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}.

Guillen Still Trending Downward

Team PokerStars Pro Angel Guillen's stack still seems to be going the opposite way than he'd like it to be and he's down to 85,000.

After Oleksii Kovalchuk raised to 4,000 from middle position, Guillen called on the button and took a flop of {J-Clubs}{9-Spades}{4-Spades} before both players checked. After the {A-Hearts} landed on the turn, Guillen folded to a 7,200-chip bet from Kovalchuk and gave up the pot.

Paur Cold Four-Bets Hudson

From the cutoff seat, Artem Litvinov raised to 4,600. In the next seat, Spencer "Tex" Hudson reraised to 11,600. Taylor Paur was in the small blind and asked Hudson how much he started the hand with. He paused for a little bit after he got a look at Hudson's stack and then cold four-bet to 20,000. Action folded back to Litvinov and he tank-folded after a few minutes. Hudson also folded and Paur won the pot.
