Lopes Isn't Messing Around

Frederik Jensen raised to 200,000 on the button and Bruno Lopes made the call to see a {J-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop, it was checked to Jensen who bet 190,000 and Lopes check-raised all in, Jensen quickly folded.

Level: 30

Dinner Time

We've reached the end of the level, and our final four have been granted a one-hour dinner break.

Lopes Loses Out

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Bruno Lopes raised to 160,000 preflop and Fraser MacIntyre made the call to see a flop of {K-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}. The Scotsman checked and Lopes fired out a continuation bet of 180,000, MacIntyre made the call and both players then checked the {K-Spades} turn.

The river was a third king, the {K-Clubs} and MacIntyre now led out for 400,000. Lopes deliberated, as he usually does, but after his customary three minute dwell, he folded.

Lopes Loses Some Back

Bruno Lopes is back as one of the short stacks again after he paid off Fraser Macintyre in a battle of the blinds.

The two checked a flop before Macintyre's 125,000 bet was called by the Frenchman on the turn. The board was left as {6-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} by the river. Macintyre sized a 250,000 bet and Lopes called and mucked upon seeing Macintyre's {k-Spades}{7-Diamonds} for trips.

Double or Nothing For Lopes

Bruno Lopes
Bruno Lopes

From the small blind, Bruno Lopes opened to 180,000, and Andrei Stoenescu three-bet shoved all in from the big. Lopes started the hand with about 1.5 million total, and he committed himself to {A-Spades} {Q-Hearts} with a call for his tournament life. Stoenescu turned up {5-Diamonds} {5-Spades}, and the race was on.

Stoenescu held strong on the {J-Spades} {2-Diamonds} {J-Hearts} flop, but the {Q-Diamonds} put Lopes one card from the double. The river {K-Hearts} was safe, and we've got ourselves a game here. Lopes is over 3 million; Stoenescu drops back under 5 million.

A Game of Chicken?

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

With the double up for Frederik Jensen, he and Bruno Lopes have roughly the same stack sizes, it's almost a case of who can get the chips in first. This time Lopes opened to 160,000 but then folded when Jensen moved all in.

Fraser Gets it In Good

Frederik Jensen
Frederik Jensen

One hand ago, Frederik Jensen open-shoved for 895,000 in the small blind. Fraser MacIntyre gave it a pretty fair look in the big blind, but he eventually folded. Jensen flashed the {A-Diamonds}.

The next hand, Jensen opened with a standard raise to 160,000 from the button, and MacIntyre had a three-betting hand. He made it 540,000, Jensen shoved for just over a million, and MacIntyre made the quick call with a chance at the knockout

Showdown
Jensen: {A-Hearts} {K-Hearts}
MacIntyre: {A-Clubs} {10-Hearts}

There were no troubles on the {5-Diamonds} {6-Spades} {8-Spades} {Q-Clubs} {9-Clubs} board, and Jensen has found his double. It moves him back over 2 million chips, while MacIntyre drops a little chunk to drop back into second place behind Andrei Stoenescu.
