Charly Maracchione is soaring after a big hand that saw him eliminate Rudi Van Mol and take a chunk out of David Vamplew.

He opened to 10,000 from under the gun and was called by Van Mol and Vamplew out of the blinds.

All three checked the flop before Vamplew led for 16,000 on the turn. Maracchione called and Van Mol shoved for 22,000 more. Both players called.

The river fell and Vamplew led for 62,000 but had to painfully admit defeat and folded when Maracchione raised to 145,000.
