Lavallee Makes Good River Call
Jason Lavallee raised to 160,000 from under the gun and it folded all of the way around the table to Micah Raskin in the big blind. He slid out a call and the flop brought 
. Raskin checked his action on this spade heavy flop and Lavallee checked right behind.
The 
hit the turn and Raskin led out for 300,000. Lavallee flat called and the 
brought a fourth spade on the board on the river. Raskin made the same bet as he did on the turn- 300,000 - and Lavallee went into the tank.
Eventually Lavallee called and showed no spades, but rather 
for top pair. Raskin showed 
for merely a pair of queens and Lavallee too down the pot.
