Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Robin Ylitalo
Robin Ylitalo

Stefan Vagner raised to 200,000 from the small blind {Q-Hearts}{J-Spades} before Robin Ylitalo made it 475,000 in the big blind with {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}.

Vagner called to see a {10-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{8-Clubs} flop where he check-called an additional 380,000. The {A-Diamonds} turn slowed both players down and it went check-check, the {7-Hearts} river saw the same action.

Ylitalo picking up a substantial pot.

Rossiter vs. Karakousis Yet Again

Level 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Jeff Rossiter and Georgios Karakousis aren't afraid to give each other some action. In a recent hand, action folded to Rossiter on the button and he raised to 160,000 with {10-}{4-}. Karakousis responded with a three-bet to 340,000 from the small blind, Rossiter opted to call in position, and the flop came down {6-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}.

Karakousis continuation-bet with his pair of kings and Rossiter snap-folded.

Pocket Rockets for Geilich

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Georgios Karakousis opened for 120,000 from the hijack with the {a-Hearts}{q-Spades} and Ludovic Geilich looked down at the {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} in the cutoff. He bumped it to 245,000, the button and blinds folded, and Karakousis settled on a four-bet to 475,000. Geilich smooth called and the flop came down {q-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}.

Karakousis, who had made a pair of queens, led out for 575,000 and Geilich just called. Karakousis seemed to know something was up and checked the {3-Spades} turn. Geilich repeated the bet of 575,000, but Karakousis was wise enough to get away from it.

Karakousis Keeps Firing

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Say what you want about Georgios Karakousis, it's almost impossible to place him on a range of cards.

He opened to 120,000 with {10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} and Ludovic Geilich called in the small blind with {A-Hearts}{7-Spades}.

The Scotsman (German) check called a 125,000 bet on a {8-Hearts}{9-Spades}{5-Spades} board to see a {10-Hearts} turn. Geilich checked again and this time Karakousis bet 200,000 and this time Geilich gave it up.

Big Pot for Geilich

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

With 370,000 in the pot and a flop of {7-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{5-Hearts}, Georgios Karakousis bet 175,000 with the {k-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and Ludovic Geilich called holding {a-}{5-}. Karakousis then checked the {Q-Clubs} turn, which gave him a flush draw, and Geilich bet 195,000. Karakousis thought for a bit before check-raising to 500,000, and Geilich took equally as long before making the call. Both players then checked the {9-Spades} river and Geilich took down the pot.

Rossiter quickly check-called a 200,000 bet and Karakousis pinged a gutshot on the {J-Clubs}. Rossiter checked and Karakousis bet 450,000 – Rossiter just called to see the {5-Spades} river.

Rossiter checked the {5-Spades} river and Karakousis fired 500,000. Rossiter quickly called and got the bad news. Karakousis has the chip lead once more
