Two good friends, Ruben Visser and Michiel Brummelhuis, are among the two most interesting players in today's event. Visser is of course the defending champ, as he won this event last Spring for a staggering £595,000, and he's back here to defend his title. Brummelhuis on the other hand does not have a big title under his belt like Visser does, but come November he will have a chance to shatter every previous Dutch poker accomplishment in the WSOP Main Event.
Brummelhuis goes into the WSOP final table seventh in chips, but everything is possible for the Dutchman who's already guaranteed $733,224 in that tournament. Before he started play today we ran into Brummelhuis who said, "I'm so excited to play, I can't wait to sit down" as he's barely played any poker since the bubble burst in Las Vegas.
Brummelhuis played a tournament in the Netherlands, but left at night when his girlfriend went into labor. The November Niner's son is doing great and the whole family is in preparation of the biggest day of his poker career.

Everywhere we look, there's more players turning up. Team PokerStars Pro Luca Pagano has been found hiding in the corner (he wasn't actually hiding, he was just hard to spot).
Others involved include former EPT champion Julian Thew who won the last ever EPT Baden event in Season 4. Everyone loves London it would seem.

With around 5,000 in the pot and a flop of , 2012 World Series of Poker Main Event runner-up Jesse Sylvia checked from early position and watched his opponent in the cutoff bet 2,375. Sylvia woke up with a check-raise to 5,475, and the cutoff responded with a three-bet to 9,175.
Sylvia didn't take too long to grab all his chips, about 28,000 worth, and commit them to the pot. His opponent sighed, mucked his hand, and then Sylvia showed the for the nut-flush draw.
