Piotr Robert Pietrzak Doubles Through Andrey Volkov

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

As he sat down to continue playing Piotr Robert Pietrzak was laughing uncontrollably at his good fortune. He'd shoved pre-flop for 152,000 with {7-Spades}{7-Clubs} and Andrey Volkov had given him a spin with {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}. The flip flopped his way as the first three community cards were {q-Spades}{6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} to give Volkov the lead, the {10-Hearts} turn kept him in front but the {7-Diamonds} gave Pietrzak the pot and he climbed to around 315,000 whilst Volkov slipped to 54,000.

He then though got a stroke of luck, he moved all-in next hand and got no action and then on the next hand he got moved table as he was the next big blind. At his new table only seats one and seven were open and the button was in seat eight. So, he got put in seat seven and now had another three hands before he'd have to post the big blind.

Baburin Clubbed

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

We missed the action, but we can confirm that Sergey Baburin was just eliminated from the feature table. He held the {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and got his chips in with a set, but Lasell King ended up making a flush with the {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}. The board read {9-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{k-Clubs}, though we're not exactly sure when the chips went in (we're pretty sure it was the turn).

Jesper Winzerling Gets a Bad Beat, Busts in 49th (€15,600)

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Ciaran Burke opened preflop and called after Jesper Winzerling made a three bet. The flop came down {9-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{J-Clubs} and Burke checked to his Swedish opponent. Winzerling made a 45,000 continuation bet and called immediately when Burke announced all in.

Winzerling had by far the superior hand with his {A-Spades}{A-Clubs} as he was up against {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}. The {7-Diamonds} on the turn made things scary for Winzerling and his worst nightmare actually came true with the {Q-Diamonds} hitting the river. Winzerling out in 49th place for €15,600.

Chen Rivers a Flush

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

We missed the action preflop but saw Andrew Chen bet a {K-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{2-Clubs} for the amount of (what appeared) 27,000. His opponent made the call from the big blind and checked to Chen again on the {2-Spades} turn. Chen, seated under the gun, checked behind and the {9-Clubs} appeared on the river. The big blind now bet out 38,000. Chen thought about it for a while and then raised to 123,000. The big blind thought again and then called. Chen showed his {A-Clubs}{10-Spades} and the big blind mucked.

Dimitri Holdeew Eliminates Morten Klein

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Dimitri Holdeew's amazing Prague Poker Festival continues as he's now up to around 1,350,000 after eliminating Morten Klein. It all went in pre-flop with Klein holding {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts} and Holdeew {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}. The board ran {7-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{7-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{10-Spades} to send Klein to the rail.
