Eskeland Makes a Suck Out to Stay Alive

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Dimitri Holdeew opened to 34,000 from the hijack and Norwegian player Sigurd Andreas Eskeland shoved from the big blind for 352,000. Holdeew thought about it for some time before eventually calling. "Wow!" said Eskeland seeing Holdeew had tanked with {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs}. Eskeland himself had just {A-Clubs}{10-Hearts} but would get lucky: {10-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}. The {6-Hearts} on the turn didn't bring Holdeew any help and neither did the {4-Hearts} on the river.

Pecheux Doubles Through Dahlin

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Georgios Sotiropoulos opened the hijack to an unknown amound and Frenchman Erwann Pecheux three bet to 76,000 from the cutoff. Lars Anders Dahlin from Sweden four bet to 107,000 from the big blind which made Sotiropoulos instantaneously muck his cards. Pecheux wasn't so easy to get ridd of though, he four bet all in for 586,000. Dahlin made the call and the cards went on their backs.

{10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for Dahlin which was a dog against Pecheux' {J-Hearts}{J-Clubs}. The board didn't improve either player: {A-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and Pecheux went up to over a million.

Ana Marquez Eliminated in 35th Place (€18,400)

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Ana Marquez
Ana Marquez

I'm not sure exactly how it went in but Ana Marquez was all in for roughly 390,000 with a pair of sevens and in dire straits against Zdravko Duvnjak's {K-Clubs}{K-Spades}.

The {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop pretty much killed any hopes she had and the {9-Spades} and {3-Clubs} completed the board.

Stefan Kolossow Busts in 34th Place (€18,400)

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Stefan Kolossow was all in for his tournament life with {A-Spades}{8-Hearts}. His shove got a call from Rudi Johnsen in the small blind who tabled {A-Diamonds}{10-Spades}. The board never got any higher than a nine with {6-Spades}{9-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{3-Spades}{5-Diamonds}. Another player bites the dust!

Ludovic Lacay Eliminated in 33rd Place (€18,400)

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Ludovic Lacay
Ludovic Lacay

Viewers of the live stream have no doubt witnessed the demise of Ludovic Lacay. Today wasn't his day at all and the one time chip leader is now off to the pay out registration desk. He's still in time to sign up for the high roller, but we're unsure if he's up for that at this time.

His last hand was against Israeli Ori Hasson. Hasson had {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and beat Lacay's {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} on a {K-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{10-Clubs} board. Hasson is up to nearly a million while Lacay is probably shaking his head somewhere by now.

Emmanuel Murgia Doubles Through Zdravko Duvnjak

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

An all in and call at the feature table and Emmanuel Murgia survived. He was all in for 222,000 with {K-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and a 44% shot against Zdravko Duvnjak's {A-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}. The {3-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{k-Clubs} flop improved him to a 90% favorite and the {10-Hearts} turn made him a 100% lock even before the {7-Diamonds} completed the board.
