It was a tough spot for Onuchin, though the flop did give him a gutshot draw to a jack. The turn actually made it so a jack would result in a chop, but Onuchin could still catch a queen to win. The dealer burned one last time and put out the . The case ace improved Kurko to a full house, which sent Onuchin to the rail.

Julian Thomas opened under the gun for 50,000 and got a call from Tom Middleton in the big blind. They saw a flop of 
and they both checked. The turn card came 
and again the two players checked. When the dealer dealt a 
Middleton decided to ask Thomas a serious question and bet 150,000. Thomas took a long time to decide. Middleton either had it or he didn’t. Either way the bet worked and Thomas couldn’t bring himself to pay the price to see.
