Jouhkimainen's Wild Ride

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Joni Jouhkimainen has gone from zero to hero in just two mere hands.

It all began when Jouhkimainen got his short stack of merely 73,000 all in before the flop holding {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}. Jouhkimainen was dominated by the {J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} of Vojtech Ruzicka.

The flop came down {5-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{4-Hearts} and Jouhkimainen was two cards away from elimination. Fortunately for him, the {9-Hearts} rolled off on fourth street and he was able to make a set. The {3-Hearts} rivered and Jouhkimainen was able to score the double up.

The next hand Martin Kabrhel opened to 8,000 from late position and was called by AP Phahurat from the button. Jouhkimainen three-bet to 22,500 out of the small blind and it folded back to Kabrhel who released as well. Phahurat took a moment before moving Jouhkimainen all in. Jouhkimainen snapped him off.

Phahurat: {J-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Jouhkimainen: {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}

The board fell {3-Hearts}{A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{10-Hearts}{9-Spades} and Jouhkimainen was able to score yet another double up. He's now sporting about 330,000 in chips.
