All By Her Selbst

Level 9 : 400/800, 100 ante

Vanessa Selbst had the button. She opened to 1,700 and received a call from Andreas Eiler in the big blind.

The dealer produced a flop of {6-Spades}{5-Clubs}{Q-Spades} and Eiler checked. Selbst pushed out a continuation bet of 2,200 only to have Elier come over the top for 5,100 total. Selbst riffled chips and thought for a moment before flat calling.

The board paired on fourth street with the {Q-Diamonds}. Eiler slowed down with a check and Selbst took this opportunity to bet 7,200. Eiler let go of it and Selbst took down the pot.

Staszko Times Two

Level 9 : 400/800, 100 ante

Martin Staszko moved all in for 39,600 over a re-raise to 12,000 from Fady Kamar. Kamar sighed, then called with {7-Hearts}{7-Spades}. Staszko turned over {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}, and scrunched his face when he saw what hand Kamar took so long to call with.

The flop fell {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}, which was no help to Staszko, but the {a-Diamonds} turned, giving him a leading pair of aces. The {5-Clubs} completed the board, and the 2011 World Series of Poker Main Event runner-up doubled through.

Patty Cake, Patty Cake, I'm the Baker's Man

Level 9 : 400/800, 100 ante
Michael Mizrachi
Michael Mizrachi

David Kahan opened to 1,700 from the cutoff seat, Grzegorz Gosk three-bet to 4,200 on his direct left, and Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi instantly cold four-bet to 8,400. Kahan folded, and Gosk went into the tank before five-betting to 15,200.

Mizrachi turned his opponent, stared him down, examined his stack, and then pushed forward all of his blue T5,000 chips, putting Gosk all in. The Polish player called.

Mizrachi: {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Gosk: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}

The {8-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Spades} flop was terrible for Gosk, taking away two of his outs and if a spade turned then he'd be drawing dead. The turn was not a spade, rather it was the {6-Diamonds}, and the river was an ace - the {a-Spades}.

For a moment, it looked as if Gosk thought he won, but Mizrachi separated the {9-Spades} from the {9-Diamonds}, signifying that he had indeed made a flush.

The Grinder is now above the 200,000-chip threshold, sitting with around 240,000 chips.

Ramdin Bests Zisimopoulos

Level 9 : 400/800, 100 ante

Victor Ramdin opened to 1,700 from middle position and received one call from Georgios Zisimopoulos in the small blind.

The flop brought {J-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{J-Clubs} and Zisimopoulos checked. Ramdin continued out for 2,300 and Zisimopoulos called to see the turn.

Fourth street was the {8-Hearts} and the action quickly went check-check, allowing the {6-Diamonds} to complete the board. Zisimopoulos bet 3,000 and Ramdin immediately clicked it back to 10,500. Zisimopoulos went into the tank for well over a minute before finally dropping his hand down in the muck. Ramdin dragged in the pot and it now up to about 78,000.

Roller-Coaster Double for Jorgensen

Level 9 : 400/800, 100 ante
Theo Jorgensen
Theo Jorgensen

After a seemingly bad start Theo Jorgensen has doubled to more than 75,000 after a hand that went one way, then the other, and then back again.

He was in the big blind and got all his chips in against Sebastian Trisch in the small blind.

Trisch: {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}
Joregensen: {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

The board ran {6-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{q-Spades}.

The Dane was miles ahead pre flop but was out-flopped before making a bigger full house on the river.

Heinz Back in it

Level 9 : 400/800, 100 ante

Former World Series of Poker Main Event champion Pius Heinz raised under the gun to 1,600 and Team Pro Sandra Naujoks made the call. The action was then folded to Steven Thomsen in the big blind and he shoved for 12,000 chips. Heinz moved all in right away and Naujoks sighed as she folded her cards.

Pius Heinz: {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}
Steven Thomsen: {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs}

The board ran out {9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} and Thomsen was knocked out. Heinz is back up to the starting stack but his table is far from easy as he's sitting out of position against fellow countryman Igor Kurganov.

Merivirta Moves in on Ladouceur

Level 9 : 400/800, 100 ante

On a {K-Spades}{2-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop Marc-Andre Ladouceur checked to Jyri Merivirta who bet 2,800 from the button. Ladouceur raised it up to 6,700 and Merivirta moved all in for right around 22,000 chips. Ladouceur folded quickly and Merivirta picked up the pot.

Are you Quackers?

Level 9 : 400/800, 100 ante

Four-betting deuces for his last 28,000 chips didn't work out too well for Rhys Jones. He was called by an opponent holding aces and an ace high flop sealed his fate.

Zumkehr Busts Sansar

Level 9 : 400/800, 100 ante

Bilan Sansar raised to 2,800 and Gert Zumkehr moved all in quickly for around 16,000 chips. The action was folded back to Sansar who called all in for slightly less chips.

Bilan Sansar: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}
Gert Zumkehr: {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}

The board ran out {4-Spades}{7-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and Sansar was knocked out. Zumkehr is back up to the starting stack and he will still have a lot of work to do before he can relax.
