More for Staszko

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Yuriy Dzetsyna and a second player checked on a flop of {3-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{q-Spades}. Martin Staszko tossed out a bet of 12,500, and only Dzetsyna called.

The turn was the {2-Hearts}, both players knuckled, and the {8-Diamonds} completed the board. Dzetsyna tossed out a small bet of what looked like 10,000 or so, and Staszko instantly called.

Dzetsyna showed {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} for a pair of queens, but Staszko had that beat with {10-Spades}{8-Spades} for two pair.

Toth Extraction

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Team Pro Richard Toth has been eliminated from play.

Toth moved his short stack all in before the flop holding {A-Spades}{3-Clubs} but was crushed by an opponent's {A-Hearts}{10-Spades}.

The board came down {8-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and Toth was sent to the rail.

Frank Busts

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Arian Ghofrani Far opened in the cutoff, Janne Pohjola called on the button, and Christopher Frank moved all in for 34,000 from the big blind. Far made the call, and Pohjola mucked.

Far: {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Frank: {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}

Frank covered his cards with his hand after turning them over, but thankfully, Olivier Busquet told us what he exposed.

The {q-Hearts}{7-Spades}{6-Hearts} flop gave Far the lead, and he remained ahead as the turn and river came {j-Diamonds}, {9-Clubs} respectively.

Frank hit the rail, while Far chipped up to 105,000.

The Old Triple Barrel Works for Katchalov

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Team Pro Eugene Katchalov never let go of the betting reigns in a hand with Baris Ergun and it took until the river for the latter to fold.

Katchalov opened to 2,600 and then went on to bet 2,600, 4,200 and 13,000 on a {5-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{a-Spades} board. Ergun called quickly all the way until the river where he took an age to fold.

Grinding Some Back

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante
Michael Mizrachi (Day 1b)
Michael Mizrachi (Day 1b)

Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi opened from under the gun, Vadzim Markushevski three-bet to 6,000 in late position, and Max Lehmanski cold four-bet to 13,100 out of the big blind. Mizrachi and Markushevski both called.

The dealer fanned {3-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}, all three players checked, and the turn was the {7-Clubs}. Lehmanski led out for 15,200, Mizrachi moved all in for effectively 83,000 or so, and Markushevski immediately folded.

While Lehmanski was in the tank, Mizrachi's brother Donny walked up to him to discuss something. The two were talking quietly while Lehmanski was staring at the board, and eventually the German folded.

Voth Continues to Slip, Dashgyn On the Up Tick

Level 11 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Ronny Voth opened to 2,600 on the button, Aliev Dashgyn called out of the small blind, and the flop fell {q-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}. Both players checked.

The turn was the {6-Clubs}, Dashgyn led out for 3,500, and Voth called.

The {5-Hearts} completed the board, Dashgyn opted to check, and Voth fired out 10,200. Dashgyn tanked for 30 seconds or so, then called. Roth showed {7-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for a missed flush draw, which Dashgyn had beat with {10-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for a pair of sixes.
