Anderson Ships Some to Lopez

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

We caught up to see the board read {A-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{A-Clubs}. Calvin Anderson checked on over to Jose Maria Galindo Lopez who tanked for about thirty seconds before tapping the table back.

The river was the {J-Diamonds} and Anderson checked once more. Lopez decided to dip into his stack and come out with a bet of 45,000. Anderson announced a call.

The {A-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} was rolled over in front of Lopez and Anderson quickly threw away his hand. Thanks to trips, Lopez was able to scoop the pot and boost his stack to about 630,000.

Lofberg Ahead!

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Kevin Stani opened to 17,000 from middle position, Ramil Yusupov called in the cutoff, Harri Koskenkorva called on the button, and Simon Lofberg moved all in for 171,000 from the small blind. Stani quickly mucked, but Yusupov went into the tank.

The Russian opted to call, putting Lofberg at risk, and Koskenkorva mucked his hand.

Yusupov: {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Lofberg: {a-Spades}{j-Spades}

Yusupov held as the board rolled out {7-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{10-Clubs}, and Lofberg was eliminated.

You Got it, Dude

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Emil Ohlsson led out for a bet on a flop of {2-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}, and of his two opponents, only Khiem Nguyen called. The turn was the {4-Clubs}, both players checked, and the {4-Hearts} completed the board.

Ohlsson led out for 67,000, and Nguyen tanked for 30 seconds or so before calling. Ohlsson showed {k-Spades}{10-Spades} for a flopped two pair, and Nguyen mucked his hand.

Max Lehmanski: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}

Vos Helppi Himself to Juha's Chips

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Juha Helppi
Juha Helppi

The theme of this level is notable players running into monsters behind them. The latest to do so, and bust, was Juha Helppi.

The Finn was sat on the button with 65,000 and facing a raise and a call to 16,000. He moved all in and was flat called by Pascal Vos in the big blind. This move scared off the other two players.

Helppi: {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}
Vos: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}

All Helppi could do was smile as the board ran out {2-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}.

No Back-To-Back Final Table For Jorgensen

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Theo Jorgensen
Theo Jorgensen

Fourth place finisher in EPT London Theo Jorgensen has just been eliminated. Kai Uwe Lach raised from the button to 20,000 after which Jorgensen moved all in from the small blind for 154,000. The big blind folded and Lach called quickly.

Kai Uwe Lach: {A-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}
Theo Jorgensen: {7-Clubs}{2-Clubs}

The board ran out {8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{8-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and the Team Pro was knocked out. Jorgensen cashed back-to-back EPTs but he will have to wait a little longer before making his fourth EPT final table.

Bye Bye Barny

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Barny Boatman's run has come to an end after a bit of bad timing.

The action folded around to him in the small blind and he moved all in for his last 100,000. Matias Juhani Kesanen was in the big blind and made a quick call after he looked down at a monster.

Boatman: {j-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Kesanen: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

The board ran {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{a-Spades}{4-Diamonds} to see the kings easily hold.

Koutoupas Can't Stani the Heat

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Kevin Stani is over the half-million mark after Sotirios Koutoupas was seemingly betting into him with a non-value hand.

At the turn board read {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{k-Clubs} and Koutoupas led for 36,000 from the big blind. Stai called from early position to see the {k-Hearts} drop. Koutoupas went into his chip vault and led for 62,000. I bet he wished he'd forgotten the combination to that vault as he was forced to fold when Stani shoved for 276,000.

Not Nguyen-ing

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

We arrived at the table in time to see Thomas Julian-Simon all in and at risk against Khiem Nguyen. Fortunately for Julian-Simon, he was out in the lead.

Julian-Simon: {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
Nguyen: {A-Diamonds}{3-Spades}

The board dropped down {J-Spades}{4-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs} and Nguyen was forced to ship roughly 270,000 across the table into Julian-Simon's stack. He's now sitting at about 560,000 while Nguyen has dropped to 220,000.

More For Haigh

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Mark Darner was just all in for his tournament life with {A-Hearts}{K-Spades} and up against Robert Haigh's {K-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}. The board ran out {10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and Darner was knocked out. Haigh is up to 600,000 and close to the top 10.
