Deuces No Good For Schulz

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Action folded to Robert Schulz in the small blind who open shipped all in for his last 61,000. Irina Batorevich quickly called out of the big blind and Schulz was saddened to find that he was crushed.

Schulz: {2-Spades}{2-Clubs}
Batorevich: {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}

A run out of {8-Spades}{j-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{10-Spades}{A-Clubs} dropped down on the felt and Batorevich's ladies held as the best hand. She scored a knockout and is now up to about 375,000 in chips.

Koskenkorva Called in A Huge Double

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

The flop read {6-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} when Harri Koskenkorva checked to Marcelo Manfredini who bet 52,000. Koskenkorva tanked for a bit and called after which the turn brought the {7-Hearts}.

Kosenkorva checked again and Manfredini moved all in quickly and the Finnish player snap-called. Manfredini didn't seem to worried as he turned over his {J-Hearts}{J-Clubs} but his dreams were shattered when Koskenkorva showed {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}.

On the river the {7-Clubs} hit and Koskenkorva took down this huge pot.

Sometimes you just have one of those days where nothing works out the way you want it to. Dominik Nitsche was effectively saying that to PokerNews and five minutes later he was proved more right as he busted.

Denis Sagorski opened to 12,000 from under the gun and called when Nitsche three-bet all in from the big blind for 80,000.

Sagorski: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Nitsche: {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}

The board ran {2-Spades}{a-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} to make the elder German two-pair.

Nitsche will most probably be back for the High Roller tournament tomorrow so check out the coverage of that tournament for more poker action from the triple crown chasing talent.
