Pascal Vos raised to 60,000 under the gun plus one and Calvin Anderson called from the big blind. The flop brought and both players checked. On the turn the hit and Anderson bet 48,000, Vos called.
On the river the hit and Anderson bet 71,000, Vos called again. Anderson showed but lost against Vos' .
Matias Kesanen raised to 60,000 from the cutoff and Julian Thomas called from the button. Khiem Nguyen three-bet from the button to 200,000 and Kesanen went into the tank for several minutes. Eventually the clock was called on the Finnish player and he decided to fold.
Thomas made the call and the flop showed . Nguyen decided to check and Thomas bet 110,000. Nguyen called the small bet and the turn brought the . This time Nguyen check-called a small 164,000-chip bet.
On the river the hit and Nguyen checked again. Thomas threw out 153,000 and Nguyen tanked for a while before making the call. Thomas showed and took down this big pot.
The only former EPT winner left in is in trouble. Kevin Stani is down to around 500,000 after four-bet folding.
He opened to 65,000 from under the gun and was three-bet to 165,000 from Roman Herold in the next seat. The action folded back around to Stani who four-bet to 315,000. Herold shoved and Stani snap-folded.
Finnish player Matias Kesanen has been taking at least 90 seconds for every decision since the start of the day and therefor play has slowed down considerably. Kesanen had the clock called on him numerous times already but he continues to play slow.

Olivier Busquet made a big call with a pair and and flush draw on the turn. It didn't work out too well for him. Hope is nor over though as he doubled up two hands later.
He and Yasar Guden made it to a turn where the latter shoved for 815,000 after the former had bet 375,000. Busquet made the call with , behind to Gudet's .
Two hands later Roman Korenev raised to 61,000 from early position and called when Busquet shoved for 171,000 from the big blind.

Daniel-Gai Pidun has had the best combined results in EPT Berlin over a three years stretch but he's still waiting for the one big score. Pidun finished 17th and ninth in previous years and he was just close to adding a 16th place to that list.
