After an action packed EPT Berlin Day 1a yesterday it's time to close off the starting flights today. Many big-name pros are expected to show up among which defending champion Davidi Kitai. Team Pros Sebastian Ruthenberg, Victor Ramdin and George Danzer are also expected to play.
In total there will be eight 75-minute levels played today with a 20-minute break after every two levels. The dinner break will be after the sixth level which will be close to 8:20 PM local time.

Team Online's Mickey Petersen has gotten off to a great start after making a straight versus David Cabrera.
Petersen opened to 300 from the cut-off and called after Cabrera three-bet to 1,000 from the button. On the 
flop Cabrera continued for 1,100 and Petersen check-called. Both players checked the 
turn before Petersen led for 2,425 on the 
river.
Cabrera called and mucked upon seeing the Dane's 
for a straight.

The Team Pros have managed to find their way to Berlin and we've already spotted quite a few of them. Victor Ramdin, Theo Jorgensen, Dario Minieri, George Danzer, Rino Mathis, Eugene Katchalov and Richard Toth are already playing and we also expect to see Jake Cody make an appearance today.

Action folded around to the player in the cutoff and he opened to 225. Victor Ramdin peeked at his cards on the button and announced a three-bet to 550. It folded back to the cutoff who called.
The dealer fanned 
and it was checked to Ramdin who continued for 600. Ramdin's opponent called and the 
dropped down on the turn. Another check prompted Ramdin to toss out a bet of 2,000. Ramdin's opponent went into the tank for about thirty seconds before finally deciding to ditch his hand. Ramdin took down the pot and is now sitting above starting stack.

Cash game players of all kinds are in for a real treat at the PokerStars and Monte-Carlo®Casino EPT Grand Final this season with a ton of tables open all day, offering a huge variety of games and limits and only 3% rake. For €2/€5 games, the rake is capped at €15, €5/€10 and €10/€20 are capped at €20 games and all higher games capped at €25.
This season’s event is the first time that EPT has been in charge of all the cash games, ensuring that players benefit from the fast-paced action, wealth of experience and high standards associated with EPT dealers. All kinds of poker variant will be on offer, from Texas Hold’em and PLO through to Open Face Chinese - with up to 35 tables running at any one time. There are limits to suit all types of player – from €2-€5 right up to €500/€1,000.
