Gaens Plenty Happy
Jeffrey Hakim raised to 61,000 from the cutoff seat, then it folded around to Noel Gaens in the big blind. Gaens checked his cards and paused, and Hakim took the opening to speak up.
"You don't look happy about your hand," said Hakim with a grin. "I'm always happy," replied Gaens, further proving the declaration with a call of Hakim's raise.
The flop came 
and Gaens checked, and after a pause Hakim likewise checked behind. The turn brought the 
and another check from Gaens, and this time Hakim bet 79,000. Gaens quickly called.
The river brought the 
and one more check from Gaens. Hakim pushed out a bet of 200,000, and Gaens instantly declared he was all in. A count revealed his push was for 831,000.
Hakim sat back in thought, waiting about two minutes before letting his hand go. Gaens then showed his cards — 
for two pair — and collected the chips.
