We joined the action on a flop where we saw Martin Jacobson check from the big blind, Mikael Bilan tap the table and check from under the gun and Krysztof Zapolski try his luck with a bet of 1,025. Rocco Palumbo called from the button and after close to a minute of considering his options, Jacobson called. Bilan tossed his cards back to the dealer and it was three handed to the turn.
Jacobson upped his aggression and lead out for 2,700 on the turn, Zapolski called and Palumbo raised his eyebrows as he got out of the way and relinquished his hand.
The turn saw Jacobson go back into checking mode, but his check seemed to puzzle his now-sole opponent because Zapolski sat for close to three minutes before betting 4,200. Jacobson sat with his gaze fixated on Zapolski but he must not have liked what he saw because he exited the hand and left Zapolski to pick up a substantial pot.

EPT Live Lite is starting to stream at the beginning of level 3 over on Pokerstars.tv, and there's no surprise as to what table they’ve chosen to feature: Of course it’s the table starring Jonathan Duhamel, Marius Pospiech, Elisabeth Hille, Marvin Rettenmaier and Kenny Hallaert.
Before they steal them from us we noted a couple of hands played during level 2.
The action folded around to Pospiech on the button and he raised to 375. Hille was in the small blind and three-bet to 1,100. The German called to the flop where he raised Hille’s 1,200 c-bet up to 2,000. Hille was having none of that though and raised up to 7,200 to force a snap-fold from Pospiech.
A while later Pospiech raised from the cut-off and was called by Rettenmaier and Hallaert in the blinds. The flop fell and it was Hallaert who led at the pot for 775. Rettenmaier called and both checked the turn to head to the river. Rettenmaier led for 1,325 and that was good to take the pot as his Belgian opponent folded.
Jon Spinks had opened and called a three-bet from Jiachen Gong to 1,100. Spinks check-called a bet of 1,300 on the flop before both players quickly checked the turn. Spinks then also checked the on the river and Gong bet 2,200. Spinks sighed and made the call but mucked when he saw his opponent's .
Mikolaj Zawadzki seems unfazed by the fact he is sharing a table with some of poker’s big guns, namely Antoine Saout, Dimitar Danchev and Max Heinzelmann, and he has just won a pot that involved all three aforementioned players.
Danchev opened to 375 from under the gun and after one player had folded, Heinzelmann called. A couple of folds later and the action was on Zawadzki and he called on the button. Saout called in the big blind and it was four handed to the flop. The first two players checked but Heinzelmann was not in checking mood and he bet 600. Only Zawadzki called.

The Netherlands' Paul Berende opened to 400 from under the gun and his only called was Jon Spinks, who is seated two to his left.
The pair saw the flop come into view and Berende greeted it with a continuation bet of 600. Spinks called and the dealer put the onto the turn. Berende bet again, making it 1,600 to play and Spinks called. The final community card was the flush-completing and Berende bet again. This time he bet 2,100 and Spinks called.

Berende had flopped top pair, turned two pair and improved to a flush on the river.
