Table 28 is an early contender for table of death containing as it does David Vamplew, Dermot Blain and PokerStars Caribbean Adventure champion Dominik Panka. In fact this is the second time in 24 hours that Panka and Blain have been sat near to each other as they were on the same shuttle bus from Paris to Deauville yesterday.

It seems winning more than $1,400,000 hasn't changed him though as he satellited into the PCA and he's done likewise into this event. Although, truth be told he won his seat to this event before winning the PCA. In fact he won a Players Choice satellite on PokerStars.fr and opted to use it for this event. He's passing the time reading a book in the early stages of this event.

So he was oblivious to a three-way pot between Joseph Carlino (mid position), Mateusz Kosowski (small blind) and Blain (big blind). They all put in 300 pre-flop and the flop fell {Q-Spades}{9-Spades}{6-Clubs} a continuation bet of 600 from Carlino was called but just Kosowski. There was no further betting on the {6-Spades} turn or {J-Hearts} river, Kosowski showed {A-Spades}{9-Clubs} which had outflopped Carlino's pocket fives.
