Griffin Benger won't add a Slyde watch to his Shamballa bracelet, at least not today. In the first hand of the new level he folded his small blind and then moved all in the very next hand from the button. Mustapha Kanit in the small blind folded but Ole Schemion made a quick call.

After the ![]()
![]()
flop, the Canadian needed a five or runner-runner straight cards to stay alive. The
turn meant a nine or four would have given him a chop as well. However, the
on the river was of no help and he shook hands with all opponents and wished them good luck before exiting the tournament area.

Mustapha Kanit just raised to 48,000 three times in a row. In the first hand he took down the pot against Philip Sternheimer with a 51,000 continuation bet on the ![]()

The third hand saw Ole Schemion one seat over and Max Greenwood in the small blind call. On the ![]()

flop the action was checked around. Once the
turn showed up, Greenwood bet 95,000 and Kanit called. Schemion raised to 263,000 with 530,000 behind and took down the pot.

Kanit bet again, this time 103,000, and again Schemion just called. When the

We lose the start-of-the-day chip leader Philip Sternheimer after being crippled in a massive pot against Ole Schemion.
Schemion raised to 67,000 in the small blind and Sternheimer reraised to 174,000 one seat over. "wiziwizo" then clicked it to 349,000 with about 1.2 million behind.
"Will you show if I fold?" asked Sternheimer. He continued to tank and eventually five-bet to 675,000. Schemion moved all in and was called by his opponent.

Both players had flopped a pair, but of course Schemion's was best. Neither the
turn nor
river helped the Russian, and he was sent out the door in third place.
Bilokur began the day as the second-shortest stack, but just by playing tight he managed to ladder up to third place for €119,400. Not too shabby.
