Win Some, Lose Some

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

First Ole Schemion knocked out a short stacked Hao Tian with {A-}{Q-} versus {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts} to climb up to almost 200,000.

Then he is faced by the raise of Yann Dion for 2,000 in the hijack and made it 6,500 from the button. Michael Kanaan in the small blind clicked it to 15,500 and David Vamplew in the big blind moved all in. The original two players folded but Schemion moved all in. Kanaan called off with the shortest stack:

Kanaan: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
Schemion: {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}
Vamplew: {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}

The {9-Hearts} popped up right in the window and the Australian took the lead. The rest of the board however ran out {2-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{Q-Spades} and Vamplew made a back door straight to pretty much triple up for 37,700 and knock out Kanaan.

Huge Pot Between Lavallee and Yan

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

After a raise to 2,300 and a call, Jason Lavallee three-bet to 7,800 in the small blind and [Removed:17] four-bet to 17,000 in the big blind. The other two opponents folded and Lavallee five-bet to 29,800. Call from Yan.

On the {2-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop, Lavallee continued for 18,000 and Yan called. The {5-Diamonds} on the turn saw Lavallee continue for another 32,000 and Yan moved all in for just above 50,000. Lavallee said after the hand that he had no clue what was going on and feared that Yan may have aces.

Nevertheless he made the call with the {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} and Yan turned over the {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}. Close but no sugar on the {8-Spades} river and Yan is gone!

Reentries Level Nine

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

These five guys just forked out €10,300 and took advantage of the single reentry option. Thus we should be up to more than 100 entries and only wait for the official confirmation. Oh, Martin Jacobson also managed to draw the exactly same table and seat. "Yeah, it is even warm still," he said. [Removed:17] had similar luck. Let's see if he can profit from the previous table image.

Yurasov Back in Business

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

We picked up the action with 60,000 or so in the pot and a board reading {7-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{j-Spades}{7-Hearts}. Dmitry Yurasov checked from the big blind and Chenxiang Miao bet a hefty 50,000 from the cutoff. Yurasov had 58,200, and decided to put it in. Miao acted as if he'd been caught with his hand in the cookie jar, but he made the call nonetheless.

Miao: {k-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}
Yurasov: {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}

Yurasov had made the right move, provided he could dodge a king on the river. He did just that when the {J-Diamonds} blanked. Just like that Yurasov is back on a big stack.
