Sekularac vs. Muhlocker

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Ognjen Sekularac opened for 8,500 from the hijack and was met by a three-bet to 18,500 by Thomas Muhlocker from the button. The blinds folded, Sekularac called, and the flop came down {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}{3-Diamonds}.

Sekularac proceeded to check-call a bet of 16,500, and then check-called one of 21,000 on the {2-Diamonds} turn. When the {4-Spades} completed the board on the river, Sekularac checked and then snap-folded when Muhlocker moved all in.

The Hammer is Put Down on Bensadoun

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
[Removed:119] - Philip Sternheimer
[Removed:119] - Philip Sternheimer

[Removed:119] opened for 10,000 from the button only to have Philip Sternheimer three-bet all in from the small blind. The big folded and Bensadoun snap-called off for right around 83,000.

Sternheimer: {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Bensadoun: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

It was a flip, and all Bensadoun had to do was hold to double through. Unfortunately for him, that proved easier said than done as the {9-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} flop delivered Sternheimer the lead with a pair of kings. Neither the {4-Clubs} turn nor {4-Hearts} river helped Bensadoun, and he hit the rail in 25th place. That means it's time for the three-table redraw.

Second Break On Day 2

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

We still have 24 players left and the last seven minutes of the previous level were done without elimination. In the current 15 minute break we will get full chip counts and the black 100 chip nominations get removed from play.

Dominik Nitsche will be one of the shorter stacks after paying off a 65,000 river bet from Artem Litvinov on the river of a {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} board. Litvinov showed him the [6c8c[ and that was enough to win the pot.

Massage For The Win

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

In the High Roller tournament we currently have two players taking advantage of "Thee Best Hands" and Griffin Benger is the third to use the massage service. This was immediately rewarded with a small pot won in a battle of the blinds against Dmitry Yurasov. The Canadian check-called the 10,000 turn bet of his opponent before both checked the {2-Spades}{7-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{7-Spades}{K-Clubs} river. Benger tabled the {A-Spades}{2-Hearts} and that was good enough to win the chips.

Dato's Day is Done

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Andrea Dato
Andrea Dato

A short-stacked Andrea Dato moved all in from early position for his last 48,000 and action folded to Max Greenwood, who moved all in over the top from the small blind. The big folded and the cards were turned on their backs.

Dato: {3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}
Greenwood: {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}

Dato was in dire straits, and he was unable to find a three as the board ran out a dry {5-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. Dato exited in 24th place, which means eight more players — or a full table's worth — need to hit the rail before the money is reached.

Benger Binks A Big One

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

David Vamplew opened the cutoff to 11,000 and Jason Lavallee made the call from the small blind. Griffin Benger, while enjoying a good massage, squeezed to 30,000 from the big blind. Vamplew folded rather quickly, but Lavallee made the call after having informed how much Benger started the hand with.

Lavallee checked to his neighbor on {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{8-Spades}. Benger slid a bet of 26,000 over the line. Lavallee made the call and check called another 48,000 on the {6-Hearts}-turn. The river was the {2-Clubs} and Lavallee checked again. Very silently Benger announced allin. It was so quiet, the dealer didn't even hear it at first. Lavallee did though, and asked for a count. It turned out to be 95,000 to call.

Lavallee thought about it for some time, muttered something along the line of "So sick", before eventually folding. "Punish me" said Lavallee which meant he wanted Benger to show a bluff. Benger wouldn't show a bluff, Benger wouldn't show anything at all as he mucked and started building his stack again.
