Zimnan Ziyard
Zimnan Ziyard

Vitaly Lunkin opened from early position for 16,000 and Zimnan Ziyard moved all in for 100,000. It folded round to Lunkin who instantly called and turned over {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}. Ziyard sighed and seemed resigned to his fate.

The board ran out {9-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and Ziyard fell just short of the money.

Jonathan Duhamel

Jonathan Duhamel shoved under-the-gun for his last 87,000 and got called by big stack Oleh Okhotskyi. Duhamel showed {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and was racing against the {a-Hearts}{k-Spades} of Okhotskyi.

The board ran out {9-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{6-Spades}{4-Spades} and the set of tens for Duhamel kept him in the race.

Kanit Caught Out and Felted

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

The final board was {4-Spades}{9-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} and Mustapha Kanit had moved all in. The price to call was 174,000 and Oleh Okhotskyi mulled it over for a good few minutes before eventually making the call. Kanit stood up as he turned over his {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts} knowing the game was up. A relieved Okhotskyi turned over {k-Spades}{10-Spades} for two pair and shook the eliminated Kanit’s hand to congratulate him on putting him to the test.

Meanwhile, Surinder Sunar was eliminated from an outer table.

Oliver's Day is Done

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

After Anatoly Filatov raised from the cutoff, Chris Oliver three-bet shoved from the small blind for 60,000. The big blind folded and Filatov made the call.

Filatov: {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades}
Oliver: {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}

The {4-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{9-Hearts} flop paired Oliver's four, but he needed more help to keep his EPT10 Vienna High Roller hopes alive. The {5-Clubs} turn did nothing for him, and neither did the {9-Diamonds} river. With that, Oliver was eliminated from the tournament in 33rd place.

Sam Trickett
Sam Trickett

Alex Bilokur opened from the small blind and Sam Trickett moved his shorter stack all in from the big blind. Bilokur had the biggest stack in the room and made the call with {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}. Trickett was out of his chair and turning over {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} in anticipation.

The cards ran out {2-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}. Trickett’s top pair meant he survived and doubled up.
