Ferro Ships on Yurasov

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Jani Sointula raised to 2,000 from middle position and received four callers, including Dmitry Yurasov in the cutoff and Afonso Ferro in the small blind. The flop fell {4-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and both blinds checked back to Sointula who did the same. Yurasov took this opportunity to bet 4,400. Ferro quickly called and and the remaining two players, including Sointula, folded.

The turn was the {7-Hearts} and Ferro took the lead with 8,200. Yurasov stuck around and the {k-Spades} finished off the board. Ferro moved all in on the river for his last 21,500, sending Yurasov into the tank for well over two minutes. In the end, Yurasov folded his cards and Ferro pulled in the pot.

November Niner Pierre Neuville Eliminated

Pierre Neuville
Pierre Neuville

Two time EPT Main Event runner up and current November Niner Pierre Neuville has been eliminated from the tournament. Non other than high roller Mustapha Kanit was the one responsible for the Belgians departure.

Kanit made it 2,000 under the gun and the player on the button called. Pierre Neuville in the small blind squeezed all in for 16,800 and the big blind instantly folded. Kanit thought about it for a bit and called, the button folded.

Mustapha Kanit: {A-Clubs}{J-Spades}
Pierre Neuville: {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}

The flop came {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}, a small disaster for Neuville who got severely out flopped. He had one eight left to hit on top of his gutshot, but Kanit had a pair plus flush draw. Neuville kept his hopes up but Kanit said it wasn't going to happen: "I'm gonna win this one."

The {Q-Clubs} on the turn sealed the deal for Kanit and the {Q-Hearts} on the river was there just to make things official. Neuville shook hands with Kanit and wandered off, the 72-yeah old routinier probably was on his way to play another tournament.

Vu Eliminated by Sedini

Level 9 : 400/800, 100 ante

Sofia Lovgren opened the action with a raise to 2,000 from the button. Bernard Vu three-bet to 5,300 from the small blind and Hamed Sedini flat called from the big blind. Lovgren came along and the trio took a flop of {5-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{k-Hearts}. Vu continued out with a bet of 8,000 and Sedini instantly called. Lovgren folded her cards, leaving the two heads up to the turn.

The {10-Diamonds} hit the felt on fourth and Vu slowed with a check. Sedini instantly announced an all in bet, putting Vu to the test for his last roughly 35,000.

Vu thought for well over two minutes before reaching for his entire stack and sliding it forward across the betting ling.

Vu: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}
Sedini: {k-Spades}{10-Spades}

Sedini was in a commanding position with top two pair of kings and tens. The {6-Clubs} finished off the board and Vu was sent packing late in the first level of the day.

Clock Called On Chisu

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

With approximately 17,000 in the middle on the {9-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{3-Hearts} flop, Danut Chisu checked the action to Eli Heath. Heath bet 7,500, and then Jullian Feriolo raised to 15,000. Action fell back on Chisu, and he went deep into the tank. After several minutes, Zevola Marco called the clock, thinking Chisu was taking a bit too long. The floor was summoned, and Chisu waited until the last few seconds to announce a call. Heath quickly folded.

The turn was the {J-Spades}, and Chisu took his time before checking to Feriolo. Feriolo checked behind. The river was the {6-Hearts}, and Chisu checked. Feriolo fired 17,500, and Chisu insta-called.

Feriolo tabled the {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}, but Chisu had the {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for a flush and he won the pot.
