Jensen Folds in Big Pot to Juanda

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
John Juanda
John Juanda

John Juanda first lost a good chunck of his chips in a pot where we just caught the river action. Juanda had 148,000 out in front of him from the big blind on a board of {6-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{5-Spades}{6-Diamonds}, and Jaroslaw Sikora from Poland was all in for just 135,000 more. Juanda tanked long, got the clock called on him, but folded in the end.

Not much later he squared off against Frederik Jensen. Jensen opened to 22,000 from the cutoff and Juanda three bet to 62,000 from the button. Both blinds folded and Jensen four bet to 156,000. Juanda tanked again and called.

The flop came {3-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs} and Jensen bet out 180,000. Juanda thought for just a minute and announced all in. Jensen wasn't happy and eventually reluctantly folded.

Ausmus and Tacaronte Chop

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

John Juanda opened under the gun for 24,000 and action folded to Jeremy Ausmus who moved in for 67,000 from the cutoff. Concepcion Tacoronte on the button shoved all in for 105,000 and both blinds folded. John Juanda called us over, showed us his {2-Spades}{2-Diamonds}, and folded.

Jeremy Ausmus: {A-Clubs}{7-Spades}
Concepcion Tacoronte: {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}

"Ohhh what a bad fold!" Juanda laughed.

The board came {A-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{9-Spades}{K-Spades} which meant Ausmus and Tacaronte chopped the blinds, antes, and Juanda's raise.

LeFrancois Pressure Duta

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

It looked as though Florian-Dimitrie Duta had raised under the gun before the flop after which Pascal LeFrancois three-bet to 65,000 from the hijack. As we arrived on the scene LeFrancois was in the tank, as Duta had put out 168,000.

After a while LeFrancois called, and the flop brought {7-Clubs}{J-Spades}{Q-Spades} to the table.

Both players checked and on the turn the {A-Hearts} popped up, tempting Duta to bet 92,000. The Canadian pro made the call and on the {5-Hearts} river the action was checked to him.

LeFrancois paused for a while before announcing he was "all in" and Duta folded right away.

Three Way All In, Two Sets

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Liviu Ignat, Denis Timofeev, and Maksim Semisoshenko all got their chips in the middle before the flop. Ignat was the shortest, Semisoshenko had both players covered.

Liviu Ignat: {A-Spades}{6-Diamonds}
Denis Timofeev: {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}
Maksim Semisoshenko: {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

The flop came {9-Hearts}{10-Spades}{9-Spades} and Ignat and Timofeev both got up and ready to leave. The {K-Spades} on the turn hit him though and the {6-Clubs} on the river was a blank.
