Sousa Hits a Set

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Pascal Lefrancois made it 80,000 to go pre flop and he got called by his neighbor Rui Sousa and big blind Andreas Samuelsson.

All three of them checked the flop of {K-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{A-Spades} and the {8-Clubs} hit the turn. Samuelsson and Lefrancois checked again and Sousa made a bet of 145,000. Samuelsson folded, Lefrancois called.

The river {7-Diamonds} had Lefrancois check again. Sousa bet out 380,000 and Lefrancois was quick to call. Sousa showed {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and Lefrancois had to muck.

A Twenty Minute Break

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

As the tournament is down to 24 players, a redraw is done. There's a 20-minute break to accommodate the process underway. When the players return they'll play 15 more minutes in the current level (20,000/40,000 with a 5,000 ante), and 90 minutes in the following level (25,000/50,000 with a 5,000 ante) without a break in between.

Palsgaar Eliminated

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

On a flop of {Q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} we saw Jonas Palsgaard check from the big blind. Initial raiser Mikhail Petrov made a continuation bet of 80,000 and Palsgaard raised to 250,000. Petrov shoved all in and Palsgaard called.

Jonas Palsgaard: {Q-Hearts}{J-Clubs}
Mikhail Petrov: {K-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}

Petrov hit the {K-Hearts} on the turn and Palsgaard couldn't catch up with the {5-Hearts} on the river. Petrov doubled while Palsgaard was left with just 5,000, an ante.

He was all in blind the next hand, and he found some action. Chris Walker pushed all in for his last 210,000 from the hijack and Rainer Kempe on the button made the call.

Rainer Kempe: {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}
Jonas Palsgaard: {10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}
Chris Walker: {A-Hearts}{3-Spades}

The board came {A-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} and Walked doubled while Kampsgaard hit the rail.

Delgado Unlucky as Kempe Stacks Some More

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

In a blind battle it was David Gonzalez Delgado who ended up all in from the big blind for 480,000 chips, and he was up against Rainer Kempe in the small blind.

Kempe: {J-Clubs}{8-Hearts}
Delgado: {K-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}

The board ran out {A-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and the eight on the flop sent Delgado to the exit.
