Schemion Tangles With Chip Leader

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #40: First to act Muhyedine Fares raised to 95,000 and was three-bet by Johnny Lodden to 235,000. Fares made the call and both players saw a board of {q-Spades}{7-Hearts}{a-Hearts}. Fares moved all-in and Lodden insta-folded.

Hand #41: From the button Garcia raised to 80,000 and was called by Fares in the big blind. Fares then check-folded to Garcia's bet of 90,000 on a board of {9-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Diamonds}

Hand #42: Schemion raised from under the gun and everyone else folded.

Hand #43: El Asmar completed from the small blind and Schemion checked his option. The flop was {8-Spades}{2-Spades}{2-Clubs} and El Asmar checked quickly. Schemion bet 40,000 and it was called. The turn brought the {q-Hearts} and again El Asmar checked, allowing Schemion to bet 40,000, and again El Asmar called. The river was the {a-Hearts} and El Asmar checked for the third time. Schemion bet 185,000 and El Asmar called. Schemion tabled {a-Spades}{9-Hearts} and Hady El Asmar mucked

Hand #44: We came back to the table as El Asmar and Schemion were involved in another pot. El Asmar was seated in the button and he called Schemion's three-bet pre-flop from the small blind. The flop was {5-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{a-Spades} and both players checked. Schemion bet 150,000 on the turn card of the {3-Spades} and El Asmar called. The river was the {k-Clubs} and Schemion bet a second time, this time to 270,000. His opponent eventually folded and Schemion took down a 615,000 chip pot.
