Falco Forces a Fold From Boeree

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

"Seems like everyone had their Wheaties for dinner!" was the remark from Vanessa Selbst, "Every pot now is three times bigger!" On a board of {J-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{A-Clubs}, and with only a pot sized bet behind, Falco had moved all-in against British pro Liv Boeree. The pot was roughly 16,000 and Liv thought for a while, attracting inquiring glances from those at the neighbouring 'Win The Button' tournament, before folding.

"King-Jack?" asked Falco, before showing {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}, a hand which was meant by a thumping of the table in approval from Boeree.

Seidel Barrels One Out

Erik Seidel - Super High Roller
Erik Seidel - Super High Roller

Erik Seidel three-bet to 3,900 from the big blind against a button opener, and his opponent called. The flop came {5-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}, and Seidel bet 3,500. Again, his opponent called. He fired 8,500 on the {j-Hearts} turn, and that convinced his opponent to wave the white flag.

Flopped Set for Kasper Beats Sacrispeyre's Aces

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

Henri Kasper opened to 1,150 from middle position and got called from Nikolay Komcharokov in the hijack. Patrick Sacrispeyre 3-bet to 3,100 from the button, and both Kasper and Komcharokov called
The flop was {10-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Kasper elected to open-shove. Komcharokov folded and Sacrispeyre instantly called.

Kasper: {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Sacrispeyre: {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}

Sacrispeyre was way behind to the flopped set of Henri Kasper and he got no help from the {5-Hearts} on the turn, nor the {8-Hearts} on the river.

Let's Have Ourselves a Dinner Break

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

The remaining players are now on a 75-minute dinner break. When they return they'll play two more levels before bagging and tagging for the night. While you wait we have two more great videos from today. First, we caught up with WSOP Main Event runner up Felix Stephensen, and in the second video you can listen to former Lord of the Rings star Sean Astin talk about his experience on Shark Cage.

Sammartino Still with Chips as we Approach the Dinner Break

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

Alexey Pak opened from the cutoff and Dario Sammartino defended his big blind. The flop was {5-Spades}{5-Hearts}{J-Spades} and Sammartino check-called Pak's bet of 925. On the {6-Clubs} turn, Sammartino this time check-raised Pak's bet of 2400 to 5750. Pak thought for a while, and with only 10,000 or so chips behind he moved all-in. "Nice move," said Dario, as he threw his hand into the muck.
