Chop Pot up on the Feature Table

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Pre-flop Gardini three-bet Maria Ho's open of 8,500 to 19,000 and Ho called.

The flop was {Q-Hearts}{9-Spades}{10-Hearts}, and Ho check-called Gandini's bet of 24,000 and the turn brought the {K-Clubs}.

Ho checked, allowing Gandini to fire again for 35,000. Ho thought before announcing she was all-in for just under 90,000 and Gandini called.

Ho: {Q-Spades}{J-Spades}
Gandini: {J-Diamonds}{10-Spades}

The river was the {5-Diamonds} which meant that the two players chopped the pot.

Urbanovich Doubles

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Dzmitry Urbanovich put in 23,500 from under the gun, leaving himself 7,500 behind. Action folded to small blind Naji Tannoury, who called. He checked the {j-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} flop, and Urbanovich checked back. The two put in the 7,500 on the {5-Spades} turn, and Urbanovich had a big edge with {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} against {6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}. The {q-Spades} gave him a straight on the river, unnecessary overkill.

Peters' Slowplay Bears No Fruit

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

David Peters defended his big blind from a Connor Drinan cutoff open. The flop came {7-Clubs}{q-Spades}{3-Hearts}, and Peters check-called 8,000. Check-check on the {5-Spades} turn, and likewise on the {9-Clubs} river, with Drinan tanking briefly on the end.

Peters showed {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}.

"Calling river if I shove?" Drinan asked with a laugh.

Bahna Doubles Through Mateos

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Adrian Mateos just sent Hani Bahna a double on a flop of {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{5-Hearts}, having flopped a flush with {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. It was no good though, as Bahna held {k-Hearts}{3-Hearts} that he'd defended his big blind with, and the {6-Hearts} didn't appear to save Mateos.

Jensen Busto

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

EPT Madrid champion Frederik Jensen has been eliminated from the tournament, we found his slip in on a pile of bust-outs. Jonathan Khalifa and Marian Mitran have also been eliminated.

Kings Folded Face Up

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

"Do you want me to show you the one which will tilt you, or the other one?" Mustapha Kanit was talking to Yury Gulyy after the latter had folded {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} face up on a board of {A-Spades}{3-Spades}{8-Spades}.

Gulyy laughed and Kanit showed the {a-Diamonds}.

Kanit is hovering around the 400,000 chip mark whilst Gulyy took a small hit.

Altergott Folds a Straight

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Max Altergott
Max Altergott

On a flop of {J-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{8-Spades} Sergio Aido made a bet of 18,000 from early position. Max Altergott, who finished third in the €100,000 Super High Roller for €940,300 earlier this week, made the call from the cutoff.

Both players checked the {9-Diamonds} on the turn and the {10-Spades} completed the board. With now a straight on the board, Aido cut out 45,000 and slid them forward. Altergott tanked for a bit, checked his cards one more time, and then folded.

Siebert Looking for a Huge Payday Off an €11 Investment

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Immanuel Eike Siebert qualified for the EPT11 Grand Final Main Event via an €11 satellite on PokerStars, and he's looking to cash in big time as the money approaches. However, his tournament life was just out on the line.

We missed the preflop action, but we do know Siebert got his last 69,000 all in and was at risk against Joao Barbosa.

Barbosa: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Siebert: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

Siebert was ahead, but even so it was apparent he was incredibly nervous. Those nerves seemed to subside when the {5-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} flop, but he still instructed the dealer not to put out a ten. When the {9-Hearts} turn paired the board and have him a full house, Siebert breathed a big sigh of relief, retook his seat, and doubled up after the {10-Clubs} was put out on the river for good measure.

Haxton Flops the Joint to Eliminate Malaurie

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

France's Christophe Malaurie opened with a standard raise preflop and Team Online's Isaac Haxton defended the big blind to see a flop of {k-Spades}{7-Spades}{8-Spades}. Haxton checked, Malaurie bet, and Haxton check-raised to 50,000. Malaurie three-bet to 106,000, leaving himself 40,000 or so behind, and Haxton paused for a beat before moving all in. Malaurie snap-called off.

Haxton: {6-Spades}{4-Spades}
Malaurie: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}

Haxton flopped the joint, but Malaurie was drawing live with the ace of spades. The {8-Clubs} turn paired the board and gave Malaurie even more outs, but he was left wanting as the {J-Hearts} blanked on the river.

Urbanovich Coolered, Now in Danger

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Dzmitry Urbanovich
Dzmitry Urbanovich

Dzmitry Urbanovich bet 28,500 from the cutoff after Naji Tannoury checked to him on a {7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{10-Diamonds} board. Tannoury reached out with a calling stack and announced a raise. He put in 75,000 more, and Urbanovich shoved in short order. Tannoury snap-called.

"Flush?" Urbanovich said, turning over {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}.

Tannoury had the nut flush, {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}, and Urbanovich was dead. He sent Tannoury 152,000, leaving himself with just under 11 big blinds.
