Bryn Kenney raised and then called the shove of Roberto Romanello out of the small blind for 172,000 with {J-Diamonds}{J-Spades}. It was a flip against the {K-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} of the Welsh wizard and Romanello found a queen on the board {10-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{A-Hearts} to double up.

Slight Headache for Vaskaboinikau

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Mikalai Vaskaboinikau arrived a bit late and then defended his big blind against the open raise of Byron Kaverman. On the river of a {Q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{2-Spades}{10-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} board, he checked and Kaverman put him all in. The Belorussian tanked for two minutes, trying to get any kind of information from his opponent, and folded.

Badziakouski Slipping

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Mikita Badziakouski was the initial raiser from the cutoff and found one caller in Mukul Pahuja on the button. On the flop {4-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{4-Clubs}, Badziakouski continued for 43,000 and was called before both players checked down the {A-Clubs} turn and {6-Clubs} river. Badziakouski flipped over {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and Pahuja took it down with the {A-Spades}{J-Spades}.

Shortly after, Badziakouski opened to 36,000 and Martin Finger on the button as well as Ezequiel Kleinman in the big blind called. On the flop {5-Hearts}{8-Spades}{J-Diamonds}, the action was checked to Finger and he bet 48,000. Kleinman folded but Badziakouski called. The {K-Spades} on the turn was checked through and Badziakouski also checked the {10-Hearts} river.

Finger made it very expensive and fired a bet worth 175,000. Badziakouski thought about it for a long time and then called to get shown {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} by Finger. "Nice hand," the Belorussian sighed and Finger replied with a "lucky run out."

Sean Winter Eliminated in 19th Place (€24,040)

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante
Sean Winter
Sean Winter

Byron Kaverman made it 37,000 under the gun and Sean Winter shoved the button for a little over 400,000.

Kaverman snapped it off with the {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} and Winter needed help to survive with {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs}.

The {7-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{6-Spades}{8-Diamonds} board only really improved Kaverman's edge and as he moves into the chip lead, Winter is over.

Table 3 has had a less-than-quiet start with Sean Winter shoving twice uncontested and Mikalai Vaskaboinikau getting it in with {a-Spades}{q-Clubs} only to chop with Vladimir Dobrovolskiy's {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}.

A hand later, Dobrovolskiy opened to 40,000 under the gun, Patrick Uzan three-bet to 110,000 on his direct left and Byron Kaverman four-bet, making it 230,000 from the big blind.

Dobrovolskiy and Uzan both folded, allowing Kaverman to pick up the biggest pot so far without a showdown.
