Lodden Makes a Huge Bluff

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante
3-2 suited for Lodden
3-2 suited for Lodden

Johnny Lodden is having a good day so far, collecting chips left and right. We just witnessed a hand between him and Carlos Chadha.

Lodden opened the button for 6,600 and Chadha in the small blind three bet to 16,600. Lodden tossed in the 10,000 extra to see a flop of {K-Clubs}{4-Spades}{9-Hearts}. Both players checked and so the {J-Spades} on the turn was seen for free. Chadha checked, and called the 21,600 bet Lodden made.

The {Q-Diamonds} completed the board and Chadha now lead out for 16,600. Lodden thought about it for about 20 seconds and moved in. Chadha immediately slid his cards into the muck.

Lodden showed {3-Spades}{2-Spades} after the hand was finished for a complete bluff.

Diego Zeiter moved all in for 39,200 from early position and the action folded around to EPT10 finalist Stefan Vagner in the small blind. He called and the player in the big blind folded.

Zeiter: {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}
Vagner: {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}

The board ran out {2-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and that was it for the Swiss.

Yoon Picks Up Cowboys at Just the Right Time

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Brian Yoon shoved his short stack of 55,000 all in from the cutoff and Diego Zeiter, who was on the button, three-bet all in over the top for 95,000, which inspird both blinds to fold.

Zeiter: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Yoon: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

Yoon was well out in front with kings, and he stayed there as the board ran out an uneventful {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{5-Clubs}{2-Hearts}.

Painful Fold by Geilich

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

With the board reading {J-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{K-Hearts}, David de Abreu bet 15,000 for half the pot and Ludovic Geilich was sent into the think tank. Gilich needed several minutes to make up his mind and then folded to leave himself with 20 big blinds for the current level.

On the same table, Pierre Chevalier and Ferdinand Le Pichon have been able to increase their stacks. Chevalier just recently had a deep run in the World Series of Poker Europe Main Event, coming 14th for a payday of €35,000.

Morozovs Recovers; Farrell Stomps over Table

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

"Are you feeling fine?" Patrick Jann asked over to Niall Farrell and the Scotsman replied "I am feeling great right now." Farrell is involved in almost every hand on the table and barely received any resistance thus far. Mihails Morozovs, who folded against his shove early on, doubled up with aces versus kings to get back up to where he started.

According to the most recent PokerStars Presser, EPT Copenhagen champion Anton Wigg claimed his ninth EPT trophy last night after winning the €500 PLO Turbo.

Wigg defeated an 85-strong field - and stacked final table - to take down the event for €11,340. Among the 11 players who made the money were Jeff Madsen, Simon Trumper, Gordon Huntly, Felix Stephensen and David Breitfuss (who finished third in the €300 Malta Cup).

Congrats to Wigg on adding another "Spadie" to his collection!

Mitrotta Doubles Through Kenney

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Action folded to Antonio Mitrotta in the small blind and he pushed all in for his last 28,300. Bryn Kenney in the big blind instantly called.

Antonio Mitrotta: {5-Spades}{8-Diamonds}
Bryn Kenney: {A-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}

The flop came {8-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{8-Spades} and Mitrotta was filled with joy, smiling ear to ear. The {9-Clubs} on the turn settled it, the {J-Spades} on the river was there just for good measures. Kenney, despite parting ways with almost 30,000 in chips, is still up lots for the day.
