Max Silver
Max Silver

Max Silver raised under the gun to 5,800 and Mustapha Kanit and one other player called. The flop brought out {2-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{J-Spades} and Silver bet 8,500, after which both opponents called.

The turn was the {7-Hearts} and Silver bet 14,500 and Kanit moved all in for around 70,000 chips. Silver made the call and the following hands were tabled.

Kanit: {Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}
Silver: {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}

The river was the {10-Diamonds} and Silver now sits on a lot of chips as we're headed towards the end of the late registration period.

Franczak Finishes the Job

Level 8 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Kevin MacPhee moved all in for hist last 45,000 or so and got reshoved on by his neighbor Piotr Franczak. The other players moved out of the way and MacPhee turned out to be up against {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} with his {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs}. The flop of {Q-Spades}{J-Spades}{9-Clubs} wasn't too good for MacPhee. Though he got some chop outs with the {8-Diamonds} on the turn, he made his exit after the {3-Spades} completed the board.

The following players have all been eliminated. Just Timothy Adams of these has decided to re enter at this point:

Franczak Doubles Through MacPhee

Level 8 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

On a board of {A-Spades}{7-Spades}{J-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} Kevin MacPhee had checkedfrom the cutoff. Late registrant Piotr Franczak on the button moved all in for 54,400. MacPhee thought about it for a bit before he eventually reluctantly called. Franczak showed {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} and MacPhee mucked. The dealer later revealed the WSOPE Champion had {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}.

MacPhee was down to around 70,000 after that hand, and lost a bit more in a hand against Daniel Dvoress where he opened made a continuation bet, but had to give up on the river to Dvoress' bet on {2-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{5-Spades}{10-Hearts} after the turn had gone check check. MacPhee in trouble, Franczak in good position.

Davidi Kitai Eliminated

Level 7 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Davidi Kitai (hijack) and Tobias Reinkemeier (button) got their stacks in the middle before the flop. Reinkemeier was in the lead holding [KKsKd] as Kitai had to do with just {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}. The board ran out {5-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and Reinkemeier doubles his 147,200 stack. Kitai was left with just 2,800.

After paying the 400 ante Kitai was all in the next hand for his last 2,400. Tobias Reinkemeier isolated him with a raise to 7,700 from the cutoff. Anton Astapau called from the big blind and a side pot was created, though it with some confusion at first. Astapau check called 8,000 on {4-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and check called another 16,000 on the {J-Hearts} turn. Both players checked the {Q-Spades} on the river and a three way show down was upon us.

Davidi Kitai: {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Tobias Reinkemeier: {K-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Anton Astapau: {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}

Kitai was eliminated and Astapau lost the side pot. Reinkemeier started stacking.

At the same time Mikhail Rudoy lost his chips. He had {K-}{Q-} all in with two kings on board against Adrian Mateos' flush draw with the {4-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}. The {9-Diamonds} on the river spoiled his party and the Russian high roller made his exit. PokerStars Team Pro Andre Akkari has also been eliminated.
