Hands #1 - #5: Owen Drops, Reichenstein Rises Clear

Uri Reichenstein
Uri Reichenstein

Hand #1: Adam Owen made it 450,000 from UTG with {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}. Uri Reichenstein called in the hijack position with {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}. The flop of {7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{A-Hearts} saw Owen make it 500,000 to play, and Reichenstein called. The turn of {3-Diamonds} saw Owen check, and Reichenstein decided to do the same. The river of {7-Diamonds} sees both players check and Reichenstein rakes in a decent opening pot.

Hand #2: Zorlu Er raised to 450,000 with {J-Hearts}{10-Clubs} on the button. Owen defended his big blind with {Q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} . Er made it 625,000 to see a turn and Owen folded. The British player has lost chips in the first two hands.

Hand #3: Er raised to 475,000 with {5-Spades}{5-Hearts} from the cut-off. Malec called from the big blind with {J-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} . The flop of {7-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{K-Clubs} was checked by both, but the turn of {3-Spades} saw Malec lead for 375,000. Er called to see a river of {J-Hearts} , which Malec again bet on, having made two pair. He made it 650,000, and Er called! Er pays off Malec's hand and that is a boost for the Polish player very early on.

Hand #4: Adam Owen raised to 450,000 from the button {K-Hearts}{3-Spades} but Uri Recihenstein called with{A-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}. The flop of {A-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds} saw both players check, but the turn of {9-Clubs} saw Reichenstein bet 475,000 and that got a fold. Owen has played three hands and lost three hands. There have only been four.

Hand #5: Reichenstein limps in the small blind with {7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and De Rooij checks in the big with {9-Hearts}{6-Spades} . The flop of {10-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and a 325,000 bet from Reichenstein takes in Down. He has extended his lead in the early hands.
