Bustout Galore With Lewis, Gieles and Lichtenberger Gone

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

At the same time, three players busted on three different tables to reduce the field to 29 participants.

Ryan Riess had Andrew Lichtenberger at risk for what looked like 100,000 chips with the {A-Spades}{K-Spades} versus {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts}. The flop {7-Spades}{3-Spades}{2-Spades} was kind of an overkill and the {K-Diamonds} turn and {K-Hearts} river didn't matter much anymore.

Then Romain Lewis lost his last chips in a similar flip with {3-Clubs}{3-Spades} against the {A-Spades}{K-Hearts} of Sam Chartier. The board ran out {K-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{6-Spades}{6-Clubs}.

Last but not least, Luuk Gieles three-bet all in for 115,000 out of the big blind. Initial raiser Jason Mercier tank-called after having opened to 12,500.

Gieles: {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Mercier: {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}

The roller coaster board {Q-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} reduced the field from 32 to 29 in a matter of one minute.
