Leathem With Kings

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

Dex de Jong is almost back to starting stack whereas Georgios Zisimopoulos had dropped some chips and then got involved in a battle with table neighbor Andrew Leathem. Zisimopoulos raised to 300 and Leathem squeezed to 1,100. Jeremy Nock called in the blinds and then Zisimopoulos four-bet to 3,200.

Only Leathem called and the {Q-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop saw the Greek continue for 2,600. Leathem call before the action was checked to him on the {9-Clubs} turn. The Scot bet 3,400 and Zisimopoulos called with Leathem then checking behind the {3-Spades} river. Zisimopoulos showed {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts} but that ended up second-best to the {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} of his opponent.

Cahill Beats Fish

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante
Seamus Cahill
Seamus Cahill

Seamus Cahill and Darryl Fish had already tangled in a few pots earlier on with the Irish getting most of it. Sure enough they were in a hand just now again with the flop reading {A-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}. Fish bet 500 from the small blind and Cahill called before the {9-Diamonds} hit on the turn. Fish check-raised from 750 to 2,350 and Cahill called.

Both players then checked the {5-Diamonds} river and Cahill's {A-Clubs}{9-Spades} for two pair won the pot.

Also in now: Natasha Barbour, who finished 20th in the EPT12 Malta Main Event earlier this season.

Karmazinas Talks his Way to a Pot, but "Could Have Got More"

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante
Dominykas Karmazinas
Dominykas Karmazinas

Barny Boatman raised to 375 under the gun and both blinds, including Dominykas Karmazinas, called. The flop came {k-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{j-Spades} and it was checked to the pre-flop aggressor, Boatman, who bet 475. Karmazinas was the only caller.

"Almost there," said Karmazinas as the dealer burned and turned the next card: the {10-Hearts}. "That's it! That's my card!"

"Then we're going to have a big pot," came the reply from Boatman. The Englishman put out a bet of 875. "Are you sure?" asked Karmazinas. "I'm not sure!" came the reply. "Then I have to raise?" said Karmazinas, sliding out 2,500.

Boatman made the call and the {5-Clubs} came on the river. This time Karmazinas lead for 4,800 and Boatman tanked. "A set of fours?" he asked before eventually making the call. The Lithuanian turned over {q-Diamonds}{9-Spades} for a straight. "They never listen," he said as he scooped a pot. "I had a set of jacks, what am I gonna do," said Boatman, "You could have got a bigger pot if you hadn't have talked."

Boatman's Jacks Win this Time

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

With the board already being completed and reading {J-Spades}{6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{4-Spades}, the player in the small blind bet 5,000 and Barny Boatman in the big blind as well as Dominykas Karmazinas called. Boatman showed the {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts} for a set of jacks and this time the Brit won the pot. "Wow, two times a set of jacks, but this time I won," the founder of the Hendon Mob smiled.

And Another Four Notables

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

Daniel Chutrov, Fabrice Soulier and Sergio Castelluccio have taken their seats and they are joined by Jaroslaw Sikora. The Pole, who dominated for many days in the EPT12 Malta Main Event and eventually finished third, added a second place in the €10,000 High Roller Event of the EPT12 Prague stop to his poker resume as well back in December 2015.

Not a Bad Table

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

With a pot of around 12,000, Sam Greenwood bet as much to enforce a fold from his opponent Padraigh Cody-Lally to award the pot to the Canadian. Three other familiar faces are on the very same table in Fabrice "fabsoul" Soulier, Andreas Leledakis and Jason Wheeler.
