Hand #48: Ole Schemion made it 175,000 with the {k-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and Mustapha Kanit called with the {a-Clubs}{3-Spades}. The flop came {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and Kanit checked trips. Schemion bet 150,000 and Kanit called. The {8-Hearts} turn brought another check from Kanit and Schemion fired again, making it 260,000.

Kanit called and the river was the {9-Clubs}. Both players checked and Kanit took it down.

Hand #49: Ole Schemion made it 175,000 with the {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}. Igor Kurganov three-bet to 430,000 with the {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and Ali Reza Fatehi tank-folded the {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}. It folded back to Schemion and he flatted.

The {7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{3-Diamonds} flop saw Schemion check and Kurganov bet 250,000. Schemion just called and the {5-Diamonds} turn appeared. Both players checked and the river was the {q-Spades}. Schemion bet 580,000 and Kurganov folded.

Hand #50: Igor Kurganov made it 175,000 with the {7-Spades}{5-Spades} and Stephen Chidwick moved in for a little over one million with the {a-Spades}{9-Hearts}. Kurganov folded.

Hand #51: Ali Reza Fatehi made it 175,000 with the {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and Paul Newey defended with an unknown hand. The {k-Clubs}{5-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop saw Newey check and a c-bet from Fatehi took it down.

Hand #52: Stephen Chidwick moved in with the {j-Spades}{10-Spades} and Paul Newey called all in for just a little less with the {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}.

The {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{4-Spades}{6-Spades}{k-Diamonds} board ensured Newey the double up, leaving Chidwick running on fumes.

Hand #53: Action folded to Kurganov in the small blind and he completed with {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}. Fatehi checked his {8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}. The flop came {8-Spades}{J-Spades}{9-Diamonds}, pairing up Fatehi and giving Kurganov a gutshot. Kurganov bet 80,000 and Fatehi folded.

The three got {9-Clubs}{5-Spades}{6-Hearts} to work with and action was checked to Kanit. The Italian high roller bet 210,000 into 580,000 and Kurganov instantly folded.

"Congratulazioni" Kurganov said while he laid down the better hand.

Hand #46: Fatehi found a real hand with {A-Hearts}{K-Spades} and made it 175,000 to go from first position. On the button Ole Schemion three bet to 500,000 with {A-Diamonds}{10-Spades}. Fatehi showed a pained face and eventually decided on shoving for 3,625,000. Schemion instantly folded.

Hand #34: Newey Flops the Nuts and Doubles

Level 20 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Hand #34: From first position Kurganov opened for 160,000 holding {Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}. Big blind Paul Newey defended his big blind with the {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}.

The {J-Spades}{7-Hearts}{9-Hearts} flop was about as good as they could come for Newey and he checked. Kurganov bet 140,000 and Newey made the call.

The {6-Clubs} hit the turn and Newey checked again with 530,000 behind. 700,000 in the pot now and Kurganov shoved all in. Newey made one of the fastest calls in the history of the game.

"Sh#t" said Kurganov, "Ten eight?"

Hands #23-25: Kurganov Pushes the Action, Doubles Again

Level 19 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Hand #23: Mustapha Kanit raised it up to 125,000 holding {K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. Ole Schemion found a slightly better king with {K-Clubs}{J-Hearts} and three bet from the button to 360,000.

Hand #24: Ole Schemion made it 130,000 with {A-Spades}{10-Diamonds} acting out of the cutoff. Igor Kurganov shoved for 1,510,000 holding a mere {10-Spades}{8-Spades}. From the big blind Fatehi folded {A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and Schemion folded the same hand to let Kurganov have the pot.

Hand #25: Under the gun Chidwick opened the pot with a raise to 125,000 holding {7-Spades}{6-Spades}. Newey folded pocket deuces but Igor Kurganov with {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} on the button wasn't about to do the same. He three bet to 285,000.
