Seidel Folds; Choi Gets Paid Off

Level 11 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

With the board reading {A-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{4-Spades}{9-Clubs}{A-Diamonds} and a pot of around 130,000 chips to be contested, Sam Greenwood fired a hefty bet worth 250,000 all in green chips. Erik Seidel, who had just slightly more than that, tanked for a few minutes and eventually called.

One table over, there was a three-way flop of {9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Stanley Choi checked in the big blind. Dan Smith bet 45,000 and Igor Kurganov called on the button, as did Choi. They checked through the {K-Diamonds} turn and Choi's bet worth 76,000 on the {A-Spades} found one caller in Kurganov to see the player from Hong Kong turn over {A-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for the nut flush.

Lebedev Doubles Through Kurganov

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

In a battle of the Russians, Igor Kurganov was trying to knock out table neighbor Sergey Lebedev and the latter was at risk for 219,000 chips. Kurganov had pocket fours and was trailing the {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds} of his fellow countryman.

The board ran out {A-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds} and the kings of Lebedev held up to keep him in the tournament.

Juanda Fires, Kanit Calls

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

From the button, Mustapha Kanit made it 18,000 to go. Small blind John Juanda three bet to 56,000 and the big blind got out the way. Kanit called, and called Juanda's 60,000 and 120,000 bets on the {K-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} flop and {4-Clubs} turn as well. The river came the {5-Clubs} and both players checked. Juanda's showed {A-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for a rivered pair of fives. Kanit took it down holding {K-Hearts}{2-Hearts} for the flopped top pair.

All In Preflop

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Around the same time, Max Altergott and Tobias Reinkemeier made their exit on separate tables.

Altergott got it in against Dvoress in a battle of the blinds holding {A-Spades}{2-Hearts} against {10-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}. The board ran out {K-Spades}{6-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{Q-Spades} and Altergott was already drawing dead by the time the turn was out.

Reinkemeier had wagered his chips with {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} but wouldn't out flop, -turn or -river Smith's {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}. The board ran out {4-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{6-Spades}{K-Clubs} and Reinkemeier made his way out the door.

Sammartino Pushes With 5-3

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Dario Sammartino
Dario Sammartino

From the hijack, John Juanda made it 16,000 to go. Right next to him Max Silver three bet to 45,000 from the cutoff. On the button, Dario Sammartino bumped it to 106,000 and both blinds quickly released. Juanda followed suit and mucked just about instantly.

Max Silver wasn't so eager to say goodbye to his cards. He eyed Sammartino's stack, counted out his own little fortune a bit, and then made it 195,000. Sammartino didn't think too long before shoving all in for 696,000 effectively. Silver wasn't fist pumping, but he sure wasn't folding either.

Dario Sammartino: {5-Hearts}{3-Hearts}
Max Silver: {K-Hearts}{K-Spades}

Sammartino put his head down in disgust for a bit, but got back up when the flop came {7-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{3-Clubs}. Countryman Mustapha Kanit was holding his breath while the {6-Spades} hit the turn.

More outs for Sammartino, but he missed all of them with the {K-Clubs} on the river.

Silver up to almost 1.5 million, Sammartino down to just under 10% of that.

Haxton Gets The Axe

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Isaac Haxton
Isaac Haxton

Issac Haxton open-shoved from early position for 117,000 with the {6-Hearts}{6-Spades} and Byron Kaverman was the only taker on the {a-Spades}{10-Spades}.

The board rolled out {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} to the turn, keeping Haxton ahead, but the {10-Hearts} river did him in, making Kaverman the bigger two pair.

Quoss Busts with Jacks

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

The action started with a raise by Ivan Luca in early position and Byron Kaverman then three-bet to 54,000 out of the small blind. Fabian Quoss four-bet to 125,000 and Luca announced all in, cutting out his stack of 442,000 for everyone to see. While Kaverman folded rather quickly, Quoss counted his own stack and eventually called off for less.

Quoss: {J-Hearts}{J-Spades}
Luca: {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}

The board ran out {A-Spades}{9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and that was it for the German High Roller regular.

Peters Busts to Smith

Level 10 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

The board was already completed and showed {J-Clubs}{9-Spades}{5-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} with Dan Smith shoving out of the big blind for way more than the pot. David Peters on the button was in the think tank for a few minutes and eventually said "okay, I call" before then trying to muck his {A-Hearts}{8-Spades}.

Smith had the nut straight with {Q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and said in table chat that the flop was checked through and a bet on the turn was called before his shove.
