Akery Busts Arsenyan

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

The action started with a raise to 4,500 by Faraz Jaka and Gurgen Arsenyan called before Peter Akery made it 14,000 to go from the button at the very end of the previous level. On the {10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Hearts} flop, Arsenyan open-shoved for around 30,000 and Akery quickly called.

Arsenyan: {K-Spades}{10-Spades} for top pair
Akery: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} for the overpair

Arsenyan shook his head, stood up from the table and tapped it. Neither the {9-Clubs} turn nor the {9-Diamonds} river changed anything and the Armenian was gone.

Erwann Pecheux has added some more chips to his stack, taking over the role of the boss at the same table.
