With the pot now 1,910,000, Sammartino checked again. Calamusa asked for a count, and bet 765,000. Sammartino wasn't willing to throw his cards away just yet and called, growing the pot to 3,440,000.

completed the board and Sammartino checked with 1,370,000 behind. Calamusa checked behind instantly and could start stacking soon enough.
