Hands #41-43: Bendik Straightens Up

Level 32 : 80,000/160,000, 25,000 ante

Hand #41: Pierre Calamusa limped the small blind with the {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts} and Adrien Allain checked the big blind with the {k-Diamonds}{4-Spades}. Allain led the {q-Clubs}{3-Spades}{9-Diamonds} flop and Calamusa called. They both checked the {4-Hearts} flop, but Allain bet 500,000 on the {4-Diamonds} river with trips. Calamusa folded emphatically.

Hand #42: Asan Umarov made it 400,000 with the {a-Hearts}{5-Clubs} picking up the blinds and antes.

Hand #43: Jimmy Guerrero made it 335,000 with the {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and Jan Bendik called from the small blind with the {j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}. They went heads up to an {8-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} flop and Bendik checked. Guerrero checked behind and the {q-Spades} turn gave Bendik a straight. He checked and Guerrero bet 450,000.

Bendik check-raised to 1,175,000 and Guerrero tank-called, asking for a jack. The river was the {7-Spades}, and Bendik shoved. Guerrero folded.
