Almost 50 Re-Entries

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

With now up to 362 entries being counted, the record of the previous year will be shattered. The re-entries play a certain role in building up the overall number, as 49 players have opted to fire a second bullet already.

Among the latest ones to get in with a fresh stack very recently were Anton Bertilsson, Alexander Ivarsson, Mikita Badziakouski, Thomas Muehloecker and €25,500 Single-Day High Roller III Sergi Reixach.

Boeree Busts Nosenko

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

After a raise to 2,000 by the player in under the gun, Liv Boeree three-bet to 7,000 and the button called. Maksim Nosenko moved all in for his last 17,000 and both Boeree and the button called.

The duo checked the {J-Clubs}{9-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop and the {Q-Hearts} turn. On the {2-Clubs} river, Boeree bet 27,800 with less than that behind. Nosenko was awaiting his fate the entire time, having turned away from Boeree and staring at the rail. The button then folded and Boeree tabled {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for a flush. Nosenko smashed his {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades} for a set to the middle of the table and was about to celebrate a triple up when spotting the bad news.

Sergeev Busts Miller

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Ofer Zvo Stern had just been eliminated and walked over to fellow countryman Ori Miller. He was in a hand with Sergey Sergeev and bet the {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{10-Spades} flop for 3,700. Sergeev raised to 14,000 and Miller then shoved for around 30,000, Sergeev snap-called.

Ori Miller: {A-Clubs}{J-Spades}
Sergey Sergeev: {K-Clubs}{J-Hearts}

The {J-Clubs} turn and {2-Clubs} river failed to improve Miller and he also headed to the rail.

Palumbo Sends Bicknell to the Rail

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

In front of Kristen Bicknell was a squeeze to 17,200 and she had around 30,000 behind when Rocco Palumbo on the button moved all in with the superior stack. Bicknell called and had three outs or some straight miracle ahead to stay in.

Kristen Bicknell: {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}
Rocco Palumbo: {K-Hearts}{K-Spades}

The {8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop wasn't quite exciting just yet, but the {10-Clubs} turn made things interesting with the flush draw. However, a blank {10-Diamonds} on the river failed to improve Bicknell and she headed to the rail.

Oliveira Busts in Two Hands

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Hand 1

Francisco Oliveira raised from the cutoff, Sameer Khurana three-bet to 5,700 from the small blind and Oliveira then made it 11,700 to go. Khurana called and the flop fell {Q-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}, which saw a check by Khurana. Oliveira bet 9,500 and Khurana asked to see his stack behind before moving all in. Oliveira called and had slightly more chips than his opponent.

Sameer Khurana: {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}
Francisco Oliveira: {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}

The {9-Clubs} turn and {4-Diamonds} river both blanked and Khurana doubled for 34,000.

Hand 2

One hand later, Oliveira shoved for his last 5,600 and the action folded around to Artem Metalidi in the big blind. He called and rolled over {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}, Oliveira had the {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and the board came up {9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} to let the kicker player.

Wheeler Doubles With Kings

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Jason Wheeler moved in for his last 9,100 from early position. Fabien Motte on the button asked for a count and then three-bet to 25,000. Both blinds released and it was time for Wheeler and Motte to turn over their cards.

Wheeler had the advantage with {K-Spades}{K-Hearts} as Motte turned over {A-Spades}{2-Spades}. The board ran out {K-Clubs}{J-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and Wheeler was already home safe on the turn. Motte still has 120,000 left.

"This is so Stupid" - Kamel Chops Twice

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

According to the table, Tamer Kamel made a straight flush for very few chips to double, then got it in with {8-}{6-} against the pocket kings of Kristen Bicknell's kings and the board provided a higher full house to let them chop.

"Let's go, you can double me up again," Kamel said and shoved for 9,200, Bicknell called in the hijack. Bryan Piccioli three-bet to 26,000 on the button and Bicknell folded.

Tamer Kamel: {K-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}
Bryan Piccioli: {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}

""This is the winner," Kamel joked and the board ran out {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{9-Clubs}. The table burst out in laughter as Kamel chopped again and Bicknell then mentioned she had folded ace-jack. "This is so stupid, but I am running so good with no chips," Kamel added before the next hand started.
