Also on the table with Martin Kabrhel and Justin Bonomo is 2015 EPT 12 Grand Final winner Adrian Mateos. Early on Mateos' stack has almost doubled to 56,000. Meanwhile, Kahbrel has been on a rollercoaster ride with his stack back down to 20,000 while Bonomo has also lost a third of his stack.

Jeff Sarwer was first known in chess circles as a child prodigy before enjoying success in poker later in life. Many of his $761,996 in career tournament winnings as tracked by The Hendon Mob were a result of EPT events including a win in the 2010 EPT 6 Dublin €330 No Limit Hold'em - Turbo side event for €12,200 and a second place finish in the 2010 €10,300 EPT 6 Berlin High Roller Event for €110,000.
Sarwer will also now be known as the first elimination in the final EPT Main Event recently exiting the field when he flopped a flush while holding 
and was outmatched by his opponent's

Since Sarwer's elimination, three other players hit the showers. While the field has grown to 172 players, currently 168 remain in their seats.
Johnny Lodden is among those to recently take seats in the event. Lodden is a European legend and PokerStars Team Pro who has made a number of deep runs in European Poker Tour events highlighted by a pair of top-four finishes at EPT Grand Final, one in 2013 and one in 2015. He's still looking for his first EPT title and will be a player to watch as he gets a final chance before PokerStars closes the books on the venerated tour.

There was an a pot of about 11,500 in front of small blind Conor Beresford and his big blind opponent on a board of 
, and Beresford's opponent put in 5,500. Beresford announced all in for around 24,000, which looked to be enough to cover his foe.
The player in the big blind tanked for a few minutes and peppered Beresford with some questions.
"Where are you from?"
"England."
"Are you gonna show a bluff if I fold?"

The big blind said he suspected jack-ten of hearts, and Beresford pointed out that it was just one combo of his possible hands.
"I really want to call," the big blind said after about three minutes before folding with a sigh.

Early on in Level 1, Kabrhel was talking up a storm with his table mates. After losing a hand in the middle of the level and Justin Bonomo joining his table, the table talk quieted.
Just before the end of the opening level, a player raised from early position, getting calls from both Bonomo to his left and Kabrhel on the button.
The action was checked to Bonomo on the flop of 
, and he fired out a bet for 1,500. Kabrhel called, while the preflop raiser folded.
Bonomo opted to check when the 
appeared on the turn before calling a bet of 2,500 from Kabrhel. Bonomo checked once again when the filled the board. Kabrhel wasted little time and bet 4,500. Bonomo tanked for a minute before calling. He mucked his hand after Kabrhel turned over 
for top pair.
Kabrhel, who won a few smaller pots in between an earlier hand which cut his stack nearly in half and this hand, witnessed his stack increase to 34,500 while Bonomo's stack slid to around 24,000.
