Oliveira Beats Luo With a Flush

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

The completed board was down {3-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}, and Xixiang Luo checked from middle position to Filipe Oliveira on the button, who then bet 51,000 into the 50,000 pot.

Luo immediately slid into his chair and placed his hand behind his back while he sighed.

Luo's 30 seconds had been and gone at this point, and he was into his first time-extension. He briefly sat back up at the table to look at the board before he slid back into a demotivated position.

Luo threw time-extension cards into middle four times after two minutes had passed. As the clock fast approached zero once more Luo called.

Oliveira tabled {k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for the flush and Luo mucked.

Recent Eliminations

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Corentin Ropert was raking in the chips after winning a flip with {a-Clubs}{k-Spades} against the {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} of Gen Nose. The {a-Spades}{8-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} favoured the Frenchman who earlier this week took down the second €25,000 Single-Day High Roller of the PokerStars European Poker Tour Prague festival for €277,560.

Demircan Folds After Riess Shoves

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Ryan Riess moved all in from under the gun for 36,500 and the action folded around to Serdar Demircan on the button.

"I have a situation now, I have a situation," said Demircan after he checked his cards.

Demircan thought for 25 seconds before he decided to fold.

"I showed the ace of spades," Demircan told Riess after he had shown one card to Scott Margereson.

"Strong fold," replied Riess.

"Well, I'm a fish, I don't know how to value my hands," said Demircan as the next hand got underway.

Dzivielevski Doubles into the Chip Lead

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Gianluca Speranza
Gianluca Speranza

Gianluca Speranza opened from under the gun and called the three-bet from Yuri Martins Dzivielevski.

The flop came {6-Clubs}{8-Spades}{3-Hearts} and Speranza check-called 11,000. The turn was the {q-Clubs} and Speranza check-called 55,000.

The river was the {6-Hearts}. Speranza checked a third time and Dzivielevski moved all in for 167,500.

Speranza tanked, and by tanked we mean he used up all seven of his time extensions.

With one extension remaining, the dealer mistakenly gave him a five second countdown.

When that expired the dealer motioned for Speranza's cards. "It's not a fold," he said, "I still have one remaining."

When that was exhausted, the dealer again gave him the mandatory five second countdown. With one second remaining Speranza called with {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}.

Dzivielevski showed {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts} for top pair and doubled up to over 450,000 in chips.
