Evangelos Bechrakis raised to 400,000 from the cutoff and Sonny Franco three-bet to 1,105,000 in the big blind. Bechrakis looked at the bet and then decided to make the call.
The flop came on which they both checked through to the on the turn. Franco now bet 800,000 and Bechrakis snap-called.
The river completed the board with the and now Franco barreled a bet of 1,900,000 over the line. Bechrakis cut out calling chips, looked at the remainder of his stack, and then contemplated for a bit longer.
"Do you have ace-king?" Bechrakis asked Franco.
"You have ace-king?" Franco asked Bechrakis.
"You have a pair?" Bechrakis now asked, "ace-queen?"
"Close to ace-queen," Franco confirmed.
"You have jacks?" Bechrakis asked.
"Jacks are no good..." Franco replied.
"Sure?" Bechrakis kept on going.
"I am sure, 100%!" Franco replied.
Bechrakis looked at his stack again, riffled his chips, and then flicked a chip in for the call.
Franco tabled for the overpair and that was enough for Bechrakis to compliment Franco on the hand and pay up.
