Heidorn Halted by Faria

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Robert Heidorn was down to his last 7,500 which he put in from mid-position and Luis Faria called in the big blind.

Robert Heidorn: {k-Spades}{5-Diamonds}
Luis Faria: {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

The flop came {j-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for Heidorn to flop two pair but the {10-Spades} on the turn and the {10-Clubs} on the river meant that Faria hit a runner-runner to get trips to eliminate Heidorn from the tournament.

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Viliyan Petleshkov raised to 6,000 from the button and was called by the player in the big blind.

The flop came {10-Clubs}{2-Spades}{7-Clubs} on which they both checked to see the {j-Diamonds} on the turn. The big blind bet 9,000 and Petleshkov called.

The river completed the board with the {8-Spades}, now Petleshkov's opponent bet 19,000 and Petleshkov called. Petleshkov scooped the pot as his {a-Spades}{j-Clubs} beat the {k-Clubs}{4-Clubs} of his opponent.

Szabo Doubles Up

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Zoltan Szabo shoved from under the gun for 53,000 in total and so did the player on the button. The blinds quickly folded to see the cards go on their backs.

Zoltan Szabo: {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Button: {9-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

The flop came {q-Spades}{j-Spades}{10-Clubs} to give Szabo a pair of queens and a straight draw.

The turn was the {9-Diamonds} to give his opponent a set of nines and Szabo a straight indeed.

The river completed the board with the {6-Spades} which didn't pair the board and kept Szabo alive.

Ramaty Has No Love for Lovelock

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Dror Ramaty raised to 10,000 from under the gun and was called by both Kenny Hallaert in mid-position and Colin Lovelock in the big blind.

The flop came {8-Spades}{k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}, Lovelock checked, Ramaty continued with a bet of 24,000 which only Lovelock called.

The turn was the {a-Spades} and both players checked to see the {10-Hearts} fall on the river. Lovelock now shoved for 55,500 in total which sent Ramaty into the tank. After about two minutes, Lovelock called the clock and Ramaty was given 30 seconds by the floor. Before the floor could even count down, Ramaty decidedly put in the chips for the call while being covered.

Lovelock tabled {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds} for the turned straight and Ramaty couldn't believe it. He was forced to show as it was an all-in situation and Ramaty showed {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} for two pair, kings and tens. After counting out Ramaty's stack, it was confirmed that he was eliminated before the end of the day.

With 172 players left, the tournament needs to lose 29 more players before the remaining ones can bag for Day 2.
