Constantin Misstep Sees Him Eliminated

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Iliya Iliev
Iliya Iliev

A player raised from early position and got calls from Iliya Iliev before Adrian Constantin three-bet to 425,000 from the big blind. Both players called and the flop came {a-}{q-}{j-}.

Constantin then moved all in for 1,300,000. The initial raiser folded and Iliev called.

Adrian Constantin: {k-}{k-}
Iliya Ilev: {a-Spades}{8-Spades}

Constantin had made a move at the wrong time to run into the top pair of Iliev. The turn {3-} and river {4-} didn't help Constantin and he was eliminated.

Barakovics Out With Deuces

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

The flop was {K-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and there was about 400,000 in the middle when Zsolt Barakovics moved all in for about 250,000. Ut Tam Vo thought about it for a bit before calling with {Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}. It turned out that it was the right decision as he saw Barakovics open up {2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}.

The turn and river were both bricks and Tam Vo celebrated while Barakovics was sent to the rail.

Thorel into the Chip Lead

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Amidst a flurry of activity which saw Iliya Iliev stretch his lead, Jean-Noel Thorel bet 400,000 on a {8-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop with three players left to act.

Two folded but the third was Johan Creutz and he raised all in for around 900,000. Thorel called.

Jean-Noel Thorel: {k-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Johan Creutz: {6-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

"Too many outs?" pondered Creutz allowed. And so it proved to be on the {k-Spades}{3-Spades} run out which saw Thorel move up over six million in chips, just behind Iliev.

All the money got in preflop between Andrei Badulescu and Mohamad El-rais and it was Badulescu who was at risk. He opened up {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts} but saw that he was behind against El-rais' {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}.

The board was dealt {J-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{3-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and Badulescu was sent to the payout desk to collect his money.

Deyra Eliminated; Iliev Flying

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Iliya Iliev has had a good couple of levels, and was up over four million before this hand.

Ivan Deyra was all in for around 600,000 with {a-}{7-} and had been called by Iliev's {a-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

There was no help for the Frenchman on the {8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts}{9-Spades} runout and he was eliminated, boosting Iliev's stack up over five million.
