Panyak Barrels Off Some

Level 6 : 200/500, 500 ante

Maxim Panyak was facing two opponents and bet 3,100 from early position on a {4-Hearts}{j-Spades}{7-Hearts} flop. Kalidou Sow called on the button and the big blind continued as well to the {k-Clubs}. Panyak fired again for 7,200 and got rid of Sow but not the big blind. On the {10-Spades} river, both players checked and Panyak couldn't beat {j-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}.

Margereson Three-Bets

Level 6 : 200/500, 500 ante

The player on the button raised to 1,200 and Gaelle Baumann called from the small blind.

Big blind Scott Margereson thought about it before making it 5,500. That was too much for both his opponents in the hand and he added some chips to his stack. Marcin Lesniewski is also seated at the same table and he hovers around the starting stack of 30,000.

William Kassouf

William Kassouf bet 2,000 from the hijack after a {q-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop and his opponent on the button called. Both players checked the {3-Clubs} and {6-Spades}, with Kassouf thinking a bit on the river. He shook his head and said his opponent was good, showing {j-}{10-}.

His opponent had missed a straight also but had him high-carded with ace-ten.

Hall's Heroics

Level 6 : 200/500, 500 ante

We found Tom Hall facing a large bet of 16,500, about the size of the pot, from a player in the cutoff on {j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}. Hall grabbed some chips to call but stopped himself and thought a bit more. Finally, he reached out and dropped them in.

His opponent immediately knuckled in surrender and showed {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}. Hall turned over {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}.
