Yankov Doubles Through Sereika

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Krasimir Yankov raised to 13,000 from mid-position and was called by Karolis Sereika on the button.

They both checked through the {9-Spades}{j-Spades}{4-Clubs} flop to the {10-Spades} on the turn. Yankov checked again, Sereika now bet 26,000 and Yankov called.

The river completed the board with the {10-Clubs}, Yankov checked for the last time. Sereika took his time, the shot clock was down to the last few seconds when Sereika bet 63,000. Yankov confirmed the amount with the dealer, counted out his own stack, and tanked. After using a time bank card, Yankov decided to shove. Sereika shook his head, asked for a count, heard it was 111,000 and shook his head a few more times.

In the end, Sereika made the call. Yankov tabled {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for the full house, Sereika tried to muck but the dealer showed he held {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} for the turned straight.

Antonin Duda
Antonin Duda

Down to his last 52,000 under the gun, Antonin Duda shoved all in and was called by neighbor Gianluca Speranza.

Antonin Duda: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Gianluca Speranza: {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

Duda wiggled one of his tens to ask for a third one but by the river he needed Speranza's cards as the board read {9-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{k-Spades}. It was a {2-Clubs} though and he headed to payouts.

Bedell Takes a Beat

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Teymur Valiyev was all in and dominated from the small blind with {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for his last 50,000 or so against the {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} of Tom-Aksel Bedell on the button. The {k-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{2-Clubs} looked grim for Valiyev as a club wouldn't help him, but the river was a {6-Diamonds}.

Some Chip Counts

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

A French Battle

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Ugo Faggioli raised to 13,000 from mid-position and Pierre Chiarelli shoved from the button. The blinds folded so action was back on Faggioli who asked for a count. The dealer confirmed Chiarelli had 154,000 behind. Faggioli took a few seconds to contemplate his options and then made the call with the bigger stack.

Pierre Chiarelli: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Ugo Faggioli: {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}

The flop came {q-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{3-Hearts} to give Chiarelli the pair of aces to stay alive.

The turn was the {8-Hearts} to now give Faggioli the upper hand and leave Chiarelli drawing dead. Chiarelli responded by slamming the table while the dealer dealt the {5-Spades} on the river to complete the board. Faggioli quietly stacked up his chips while Chiarelli made his way to the payout desk.
